As a carp angling newby I have watched so many videos to try and learn to do these myself all to no avail. This one, 1st go, perfect rig (Even if I do say so myself!). Thanks so much. Keep the instructionals coming fella! 😉🎣

Thanks a lot! I am glad it helped you tie the rig! :)

Brilliant and well shown. I've been struggling tying them watching many other videos and they do it different. But the way you have shown I'm knocking them up now in no time very easy . Cheers

More of these rig videos would be sweet mate!

Thanks for the comment! I was thinking of doing a few more in the next month or so. Is there any particular rig you are looking for a tutorial on? I was thinking of doing the ronnie/twister rig and the blowback rig.

Hi mate do you steam the IQ fluro to get it straight? As can be coily when you first use it. Cheers
@JackWheelerFishing5 жыл бұрын
Hi Ian, I usually find the heat from just running the IQ material between my fingers straightens the material enough to what I want - I am sure steaming it will work, just never needed to do it myself.

Good Video - i'd recommend using a Palomar Knot with the swivel - strongest knot out there.

Great vid. Which bait works best with this? Pop up, wafter, bottom? Thanks
@JackWheelerFishing4 жыл бұрын
This rig is best suited with a wafter, but you could use a bottom bait 👍

would you use this only as single bait or can you use a solid pva bag or pva mesh ? thanks
@JackWheelerFishing4 жыл бұрын
I would definately use this as a single bait rig, or with a PVA mesh bag hooked on. I wouldn't use this in a solid bag personally, as I like the rig material to be supple (braid) in conjunction with a solid bag. I hope this helps 👍
@azaz...4 жыл бұрын
@@JackWheelerFishing this makes sense, i think a small mesh bag of boilies should be about right now i think about it, thanks again
@TheMDOutdoors20168 жыл бұрын
Awesome video but I have one question how do you attach the boilie to the rig.
@JackWheelerFishing8 жыл бұрын
TheMDOutdoors Thanks mate. You attach the boilie with bait floss mate. I should have probably added that to be honest. Maybe I will do a video on how to attach it at some point...

you say size 6 like its too big i use this almost exclusively with a 15mm bait.. ive never had any problems. do you think a size 8 or 10 would be better?
@JackWheelerFishing5 жыл бұрын
Hi Keiran, thanks for your comment. A size 6 is more than suitable to use with a 15mm bait - I have always preferred using smaller hooks when I feel I can get away with it.

this is actually impossible to tie with 15lb iq 2 onto a size 6 . so dont even try.
@lordamercy56094 жыл бұрын
its really not
@captainchillco10254 жыл бұрын
He used 12lb in the video, and I've tied 4 so far with 15lb. Maybe change the brand of hook your using as different brands have different sizes eyes.
