according to Mojang, it is impossible to FIND a blue axolotl as they do not spawn naturally in Vanilla. You only get them through breeding. So every person claiming they have found one either got the color of it wrong or simply ... lied.

@@TheLGND22 quite. The last time I've read about the blue axolotl, it was said, it can only made by breeding and not natural spawning. Maybe they've changed it in a patch and it did spawn naturally in the beginning.
