These are Game 1 of the Philly series(after being out for game 5 in atlanta), game 3 in the ecf(where he had to go out on halftime) and game 4 and 5 of the ecf where he had no legs whatsoever(even had a negative gamescore in one of those). If you count these out he has a gamescore of nearly 30 as an average. This is a very good video, I hope people like Jimmy and Luka see this. It is sad to see accolades and how they are publicly presented. I wish we had a more effiecient way of celebrating champions than the way they are now. Trophies need to be administered in a way much more like your video shows. They have true meaning. It is appalling that people like Jordan and others can demean major accomplishments just because you don't have a ring. I hated hearing him say for example that the 73 wins in a regular season doesn't mean anything cause you don't have a ring. That is foolishness. World records should ALWAYS be praised. especially if they haven't been beaten for decades. Rings are always going to be distributed, but a record? maybe once in a lifetime. Littlie bit context: DeMarcus Cousins just played 20 playoff games in his career and just averaged 12.4 minutes per game. He only got 5 starting playoff games in his career. In his regular season career he averages 29.8 minutes per game and started in 561 games of the total 654 regular season games.

I think it has to do with the 3 point mentality. When 3 points are not falling for one team and the other is on fire you get these huge blowouts. When the game was based in 2 point buckets it was closer because making a 2 point basket is ¨easier¨ and you dont get these no score runs.

It will be interesting to see which pieces Dallas will be able to assemble around Doncic. He is a star, but as we have seen with players like Carter, Ewing, Miller, and to a certain degree Barkley and Iverson, the role players can make or break a star players legacy (at least on paper, the aforementioned players to us are all legends. But to the casual onlooker, none of these guys have rings....). Still 23... and with players playing into their mid-30s now, its pretty scary to think that he has at least 10-seasons left of high level basketball (and the same could be said for Tatum and Ja).

Don't get me wrong Luka is a special player OFFENSIVELY but let's not put him in the upper echelon of basketball titans like Jordan, LBJ, and others who have done and can do everything. Luka is a defensive liability and he got exposed during the Warriors series, can he be a better defensive player? Sure if he gets into proper shape he might be able to put in the actual effort and with proper coaching who knows how good he can be defensively. He's already off to a great start being a superstar offensive player but if he wants to in the likes of the true greats he's gonna have to do it in BOTH sides of the ball.
