This song brings me to tears because of how good it is. Nightwish is still a force, Tuomas is a genius. Keep it coming. More live shows hopefully in a couple of years. I will be there. Ordered the vinyl and the Blu-ray (and a tshirt). I will be listening on repeat for days.

I have been listening to this song, on repeat, since very early in the morning and I was blown away, right away!! Then when the vid came out, blown away once more. It's like you said, Nightwish takes you on an epic yourney with each song and these vids are so amazing. It all goes well together so perfectly. I really look forward to the rest of the album 🤘🤘🖤🖤

About 4 years since we've had new Nightwish. People always say to watch Nightwish's live videos, but this music video is a visual masterpiece. Troy's soft voice at the end is a real nice touch.

Irresistible complexity Jynger with all the trademark Nightwish transitions and multi layering. 3:58 to 4:28 repeated later is everything I could ask of a Nightwish release musically and vocally and the other 8 minutes are superb also. Thank you lovely lady 🙏👍😊❤️

The whole experience became absolutely epic and I can't wait for the whole album! To me your reaction is the icing on the cake, thank you! How's the heart, sweet Jynger? Love your NW tank

The video is fascinating, as it starts with the big bang (tying TGSOE and Shoemaker with those space shots) a cosmogony bit, then continues with the reptile that jumps into the water, the very source of life. The detailed fact of what it takes for us to exist is just mindblowing. Ngl, the open shot of the diver floating in the ocean tickled my anxiety, especially as the light/bait on the giant anglerfish's head becomes slowly visible (terrifying as heck) Next step in the evolution process, are the primitive organisms changing time and time again, creating many different species, including the homo sapiens sapiens, the toolmaker, the human we are today, (aka Tuomas), it also shows the raw, predator-prey dynamic. The section on the natural history museum is my favourite. The fossils are super cool, and the old-looking encyclopedias stand beautifully on the shelves. Floor's free fall into her own history pages reminded me of Élan, loved seeing the different shots, like multiple sides of her. Then back to the water, finally, a sort of fusion between her and Tuomas appear to be the first "curious ghosts" to explore the museum, though Kai's is already there, reading (The Portrait of Dorian Gray? I mean, because of how his face turned into a skull), I'm not sure how he got there though, but I'm guessing that every time the diver comes out of the water, it represents each of them. Emppu's journey took me by surprise, he seems to be a peculiar jellyfish, though it makes sense, the man himself is quite peculiar in the best way. Troy observing and gently reaching out to the butterflies is a lovely scene, like cherishing the smallest, most fragile living beings. A badass breakdown, mixed with visuals that gave me Procession vibes. Jukka's ghost disintegrating like that gave me the idea of "ashes to ashes, dust to dust". The last shot of the diver floating with the whales is beautiful, I've always loved their calls/songs. Then, everything comes to a full circle with that drop of water that nurtures the earth. At the end of our journey through this world, we will go back to where we came from. We become one with mother nature.

This is what unconstrained genius looks and sounds like. Tuomas is a visionary and he does exactly what he pleases and goes wherever his muse takes him. It's on us to keep up and follow along. That he leaves many behind is no surprise. This... this composition is fucking epic. And it's as deep as the Marianas Trench. This world, this existence is awesome if you take the time to grasp for understanding. The glittering beauty of mathematics, music as the voice of God, the natural world with its "endless forms most beautiful". It's all there for the beholding. But you have to reach out grasp it, you must have a savage thirst for comprehension as the price of admission.

Nice to.see.you.reacting to.Nightwish again! Loving the black hair....very.nice! I love the intro, letting folks know what had to happen for those of us alive today! Makes one think! Personally... My line will end with me, but I have 3 other siblings that all have offspring! Me...a very rare genetic blood disorder that ended the lives of my grandfather, great grandfather and several others in our line that passed from a similar fate. Fortunately, doctors can treat it now, but I chose not to take the chance of passing it down to a child.

Jynger great reaction to wintersun nightwishs sister band. And you might ask how are they related? Nightwish has band members that were in wintersun before. Marko the nightwish bass player the blonde guy with the long braided viking beard was replaced by wintersun bass player jukka. And nightwishes former drummer jukka was replaced by wintersun drummer kai. So that's how they are sister bands. And I just can't wait for the next wintersun reaction for you wintersun time live rehearsal video at Sonic pump studio in Helsinki Finland. Thank you so much for all of your commitment that you give for your subscribers like myself jynger. Wintershn Alex ❄️❤️🌹

One I just can't get enough of it and two to just immerse myself into the lyrics... I love the way each member had their moment to shine in the video as well as the song... Floor truly accented everything and then it was capped off by Troy at the end what an incredible song... PS yesterday felt like Christmas when I woke up to new epic Nightwish music

I can't remember being so excited in anticipation, for a while! An epic journey! Radioactivity [Paradise, What about us?]. Creation of stars, neurons, our ancestors. Freediving. [Ocean Born?]. The Yonaguni Monument. We are the dream of many ancestors. [Everdream?]. Natural History Museum Library at Tring, Charles Darwin, Voyage of HMS Beagle. Underwater rivers (of different salinity, real not CGI). Scary Giant Angler Fish! [Sounds of the Humpback Whale, a 1970 album of humpback whale songs, recorded by Roger Payne, Katie Payne and Frank Watlington, is still the best-selling nature sounds album of all time]. Coelacanth (thought to be long extinct, there was a video clip in the entrance to The Natural History Museum in London). Impossible birds! Thomas letting your know, this is imagination… Poor baby Barn Owl :) How many arms does scary Floor have? Muppet comedy? Dodo, extinction. Leap of faith, [Elan?]. Landing “On the Origin of Species”. Where is TGSOE? 3:57 "Eyes of Sharbat Gula", that ‘look’ from Floor! Finches, the specific adaptation of which inspired Charles Darwin. Spooky Tuomas grabbing a book. [Interstellar?] Why is Kai thumbing backwards? [History?] Poor Emppu "sneezing" :) Troy the magician. The Butterfly effect! [Fringe?] Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein, William Shakespeare. The flight of Terns. Mona Lisa. Jukka vanishing. Finches again, Goldfinch taking flight. Did the diver actually get to swim with Humpback Whales and vertically sleeping Sperm Whales? Perfume, Ambergris! We are the distillation of our ancestors dreams. Tuomas the tree-hugger becomes a tree. Wrecks. Humanity, litter. Edited & Directed by: Ville Lipiäinen (of course!) A Lovely Bunch of Coconuts High Hopes!

Hey. 124 Spider here. Honestly, if all children in their first school years had heard this song and read the lyrics, I'm sure that today... all of humanity would be much more cohesive and kind to each other. I had never thought about how I got here, today, alive. If anyone still had doubts that Nightwish ARE THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD, right now?. So I just have to say that humanity is no longer thinking for itself. It's the "NEW" AI that everyone talks about, but they don't even pay attention to what it means. NIGHTWIH FOREVER SINCE EVER.

Why is the feeling getting stronger and stronger in me that the era of Nightwish will end with the next album Yesterwinde? 2026 is the 30th anniversary of the band. The new album took 4 years. There is also no tour planned with the new album. I think there will be a 30th anniversary compilation and with luck a final concert in Tampere with all current and former band members. That's my opinion.

I am unsure, but it doesn't strike me as a single? It certainly doesn't make me want to rush out and buy the album and it is missing a hook. I have no problems with the concept and if it is simply the first song on the album then that would also make sense. I find the video distracting. If you haven't listened to the song without the video do that. Improved the song immensely for me.

@@reeilona I'm somewhere between you two...it isn't a bad song but i don't find it memorable it is missing a hook for me. I do wonder if they are getting a bit carried away. It's not really a single, this isn't something that would make me buy the album. It's not a Storytime or Amaranth, Nemo or Endless Forms Most Beautiful which are more what I would expect as a single release. Noise was that for the previous album, it had a hook and was simple enough to stick in your head. It has made me curious about the album though, whether that is good curious I am unsure.
