I feel for Ben, in that I understand his fear, but also, he uses Charlie and says really cruel things to him, and does cheat on him, and then assaults him, so while I understand his fear, that doesn't give him permission to hurt other people. Ben needs to sort his sh!t out and leave Charlie out of it. :)

7:42 - Yeah that confirmed to me 100% that they're lesbians, but weirdly I saw a lot of actual lesbians not realize it quite at this point yet. They were still like 'are they?' I thought 'gal pals' was like, a well known figure of speech for a lesbian relationship.

The fact that Nick had to Google that is so relatable, I remember doing the same coz I was not fully educated about sexual orientation coming from an African family, where it's sinful to even think of being gay, I had to learn through shows and movies like these,I still have alot to experience tho❤️

I know exactly how that feels. I grew up around very christian and conservative people so I didn't even had a chance to get educated about sexuality until I was a teen. Kids nowadays don't even realize how lucky they are. If a show like that existed when I was a teenager (early 2000s) it would literally change my whole life. It's just so wholesome.

Growing up religious also makes u feel so uncomfortable about urself. I grew up hating myself and the way I felt. But was always accepting of everybody, so I was confused for a while there. But have only just realised that it’s perfectly ok to feel the way I feel. I grew up straight but for the past few years I have felt attraction towards girls. I’m now proud to say I’m bisexual or at least Bicurious!!!💜💙💚💛🧡❤️

Did you know that this is originally a webtoons series? Then the webtoons got published into graphic novel form, AND THEN it got adapted into a Netflix tv show. The webtoons is still ongoing, and it is really a lot further along. There are like four volumes of the graphic novels, but it still hasn't caught up with the webtoons. This Netflix adapted show only covers the first two volumes of the graphic novel. Just so you know. I should tell you that the graphic novel is difficult to find though since the show came out on Netflix. It keeps getting sold out in bookstores, and I believe that libraries have trouble keeping copies of the graphic novel on their shelves because everyone wants to read it now.

After a breakup from a 4 year relationship with my boyfriend, it feels like my heart turned to stone and gay shows always make me roll my eyes because how most are overly dramatic and sexualized..so I always shied away from watching. But when this came out, I tried just because I'm bored but I'm really surprised how wholesome and beautiful it is. My stone cold heart for being single for more than 6 years just melted. Like I almost forgotten what it feels like and this show really made me feel again. It's a beautiful thing to be in love. 💕 Waiting for more reactions from you two.. You both are so lovely to watch!

I love how sweet all the stories are in this show. It's family friendly and probably a great tool for LGBTQ + to come out to family. I'm over Hypersexual shows of teen period! Not everyone was sleeping around and getting wasted in high school

I love this show/ the books because like you said so well it’s not like other lgbtq+ shows, it’s not toxic, full of drugs, sex and darkness.. it’s just pure love! Because we too deserve a happy ever after story and not just the ones where we can’t find/ stick with someone.. we don’t realize but these shows really have impact on the community as a whole

I just love that series because it's so pure and innocent. I think most of us had these kind of experiences when we were falling in love for the first time or when we had our very first major school crush. The sparks flying, the cool graphic fallowing the characters are just genius. It literally shows that lgbtq+ people are like everybody else. I really don't like how most of the shows depict gay/queer characters as always brutal, suicidal, depressed or sexually explicit. That show is just like a breath of fresh air.

Although the show might go into deeper topics if it gets renewed because in the comics charlie suffers through an eating disorder and problems with self harm and ends up going to a mental hospital. It was handled really well by Alice in the comics so i think that it might show in a later season
