Wtf is this "news"? It was already said that edena-ry didn't want to be listed in Sun and they were added by Cube without Soyeon or their knowledge and then they all agreed unpublicly on this song, bc it's not a plagiat since similar melody is too short for that. And Shuhua could have bowed ealier to them so why would she greet them again? Artist often interact off stage. And Minnie was not talking about Ive but about them winning for Tomboy MV and calling it unreal like in a dream. And lastly- G-dragon also had plagiat controversy and still people admire his producing work so Soyeon will always be a Queen for carying Idle and Cube on her producing back.

Just to be clear, Eden and Eden-ary didn't want to be credited as co-authors because Wave was used in that song without their knowledge or approval and their agreeing to be credited would equal them accepting their work being used against their will. Just because they couldn't afford legal action and possibly reached some settlement behind the scenes doesn't mean they were happy with what happened, they were clearly pissed when they found out.

About jinni. As if an idol could easily terminate her contract from her own side if the reason is only bcs she doesn't like the concept or management. She'll need to pay hefty sums of money after breaching the contract like that. The only personal reason that could easily let an idol go is usually health reason or continuing study/parent's opposition (usually parent's opposition is related to study or career change). If health or study is not the case, then she got kicked out. If jinni debuts again in music industry, then it's obvious she got kicked out (unless it's due to health n she already recovers when she debuts again, or has finished her study).

People should really search Ed Sheeran plagiarism lawsuit he explains why it’s hard to compose songs since there are only so many beats you can use. If we go searching for similarities in every song, everyone will be shocked.

its easy to tell hater from neutral just by searching the topic. if you don't even like her, don't even mention her. mention the thing you like, ignore the thing you hate unless if its bothering your life. When Soyeon realized the similarity, tried to add credit to Eden-ary, but KQ refused. Where is no controvercy here or KQ itself will protest. Semply Wave by Ateez and Sun sampled the same latin beat which is like 50 years old

Nah, they added Eden-ary on music platforms upon digital release without actually consulting to KQ n the producers themselves. FYI, Eden-ary never put their team's name like that as songwriters, they each put their individual name. Cube's defense was bcs digital release was around the corner, they were in a tight time, so they put Eden-ary without discussion with their side bcs cube/soyeon acknowledged the identical part. Still, not a good move wasn't it? Pretty rude, imo. No wonder KQ refused it. As to why in the end they erased Eden-ary when they registered the song to komca, there was no clarification from cube, unfortunately. Cube being a mess as always. I didn't blame soyeon for accidental identical part, as she at least acknowledged it, but the cleaning up after the mess by cube/soyeon was unacceptable imo. If I were soyeon, I wouldn't wanna register that problematic song to komca as I had many other amazing songs I could be more proud of. But again, we dunno if soyeon was ok or involved in registering to komca, or simply another foolish move from cube.

@@allhailrise you miss the central point. They never clam the plagiarism. Because it's not the case. Soyeon sampled the same Latin beat. That is. There a one thousands of Latin songs with fast decrescendo and crescendo, 2 same notes, pause, 2 notes, repeat. It's not copy, it's the genre. Ateez did it for the first time in K-pop. That's it.

Gidle's fans claimed it was sampled, ateez's fans said that part of wave that was similar wasn't sampled, it was original. Both were hearsay from what I know. Neither soyeon nor Eden-ary mentioned their own song as being sampled from Latin beat (again this is what I know). Regardless, my point is the cleaning up after the problem is still a mess. To put Eden-ary name on digital release n then dropped them again when registering to komca is a bad move without any clarification from cube's side. Have cube really talked it properly to KQ/Eden-ary? I doubt it. If they have n the problem has been settled, cube should have clarified already that it was a non-issue n had been settled when netizen made fuss about it n attacked soyeon. Keeping silent when the matter has been solved n could be cleared up as easy as giving statement (in case this is truly non-issue) is another foolish move from cube. Sigh, it's cube, I don't get their way of doing things. Well regarding why KQ didn't take legal action if it is really plagiarism, 2 possibilies. First, it might be that that similar part is sampled so no plagiarism happened. Second possibility is that it is original n plagiarism happened, but they just decided not to take legal action for many reasons. The fact is not every victim of plagiarism takes legal action, one example is that Japanese musician that got plagiarised by yu huiyeol.

It's entirely possible that Jinni did in fact begin dating even if she was a trainee for that long. Human feelings are complicated and Jinni is young. My own speculation is that Jinni is pregnant considering the abrupt change in attitude. There were no hints about her anxiety or disliking her position in NMIXX. She was constantly praised for her visuals in SK whenever Sullyoon or even NMIXX was mentioned and had a decent amount of press and screentime. If it were just about disliking the concept, it seems like such a shallow reason to leave and entirely unsubstantial. Jinni had a contract with JYPE and for sure there must have been a clause regarding what situations would entitle the artist to leave on their own accord without being sued for breach. They let her go just like that with no resistance and no legal dispute.

Somi) or they've experienced controversy (ex. HyunA). If someone had said they left bc they were pregnant that would be far fetched. But this time it's more substantiated to assume this

Stans love calling Shuhua "their Savage queen" when she is shown to severely lack social cues. She needs to grow out of that bratty nature of hers. If their "Tomboy" comeback wasn't as successful as it was, the group would have been in trouble, Soyeon even admitted that it was a do or die situation for them.
