Just make sure your parents read the contract if you become a trainee. Because they will pay a lot of money if you don’t finish a full trainee contract and the company basically owns your soul . Your parents also have to pay to support you whilst training

I don't have people to say this to so I'll just drop it here. I am Nigerian and 17 I love to perform and I love kpop so much that I want to become an Idol but I have so much thoughts holding me back. Will I be rejected cause I'm black? Will theh even take my audition application seriously? I have scars so how do I so about it? I know I have a unique personality but how do I showcase it in my audition? If I even pass the first round how do I make it to korea because I sure as hell can't afford the plane tickets? Will they even find me pretty oy good enough to make it because I sure as hell don't have straight legs and am 162cm. Should I just give up and follow the route already set up for me? I know i have a little bit of talent as i can sing act and rap ( not a good dancer though) but will they even know? I sometimes wonder why my heart is so set on this when I'm not even asian or korean because not all koreans even become idols but I'm still so set on this. My friends say to try so as not to have any regrets but I don't know if i should try once or just keep trying? Sorry I wanted to vent to see if someone else understood or felt the same.

It depends on the company if they have money to spare and think you're worth it they will pay for your ticket in the audition you could show your personality by saying what people normally describe you as etc; try and practice dancing at least a few minutes everyday i wish you luck💗

The kbs x jyp audition looks amazing but I don’t know Korean😭😭, I’ve gotten to the point where I understand a couple words or can make up what’s going on because of the conversational clues but I don’t think that counts. Also, does the SM audition have any restrictions on nationality or could it be considered a global audition?

Hello luvie I don't know but it is kinda rude ask you but I don't have anyone to tell my problem so I hope u dont mind so the problem is that if I audition and passed and then I went for second adutiton to south korea if I failed the second I would have to come again to my country cuz I am just 16 ( i cant pay for the expense for all even if i get the job)and I cant live there alone cuz my parents cant pay for expenses and I don't have anyone that Will stay there with me so technical I would have to do it again till I dont become a trainee which means I would have to but a ticket again again and I dont think my parent will pay for the ticket again and again . You should still audition! I’m pretty sure they provide Korean classes to people under their entertainment anyways they just don’t want to start the language for you from scratch
