@@priyampaswan4453nobody can tell you what you lack but you or a professional. Not strangers online. Firstly, don’t audition for the same place again until it’s been 1-2 months at least. You can’t improve in such a short amount of time to make a big difference in outcome. You need to choose songs and dances wisely, don’t do a category based on someone else because you might be terrible at singing and rapping and someone else passed with singing and rapping. You can ask people who know you well for song suggestions and dance suggestions. You need to know your own skills and don’t push yourself too hard to impress because there is nothing worse that overestimating your skills and doing a bad performance that was beyond your current skill set. Practice as much as you can (everyday if possible) for several hours a day. Film yourself dancing/singing/rapping and then watch it back and overanalyse all the things you think aren’t good enough (sometimes it helps to compare your video to the original just to see what can be done differently). Make sure you only audition for places that you know you can get in with your style. If you go for jyp but have a more mature feeling, they will reject you because they like young kids and youthful concepts and so on. If you become a trainee, you will probably get traded like livestock anyway because pretty much every trainee gets traded from company to company because sometimes they fit better with one company that they didn’t audition for so the company they got in will swap them for the other companies trainee. If you want actual professional advice, this girl (Irene) is not the one to give it because yes she has auditioned but she has no actual professional training or real industry knowledge of someone who knows how it works or has even worked in the entertainment industry. You need to go to a REAL professional singing teacher or dance teacher to get the best feedback. A girl who has done a load of auditions but never trained or worked in the industry is not going to make you super successful or give you the real inside knowledge that someone who has been/is a trainee, has trained professionally or is an industry professional (not KZbinr) can give you. There is a website called GBK and it’s a Korean entertainment company, you can post on their website and their staff (real coaches who get paid to train and who know how to properly manage talent) will give you feedback if you post your videos on there. It’s really useful and they give you a chance to audition for them too. Good luck. (It may sound harsh towards Irene even though it’s not supposed to, but there is a really BIG difference between someone who’s trained and made it their career in performance vs someone who has dabbled here and there but has no professional experience or training from accredited bodies. I’ve seen she gives decent advice but I’ve also had first hand training from industry pros and their bank of knowledge and 1:1 feedback and technical advice is really unparalleled. Ofc this is more expensive but there are so many pros on yt who make videos that you can use for training like singing warmups and techniques and even dance training if you sign up for something like steezy. Irene is good to help introduce you to more knowledge of these things at a base level but if you want more in depth advice and training, you’ll have to invest a bit and spend on a coach because they’ve trained, they’ve made the same mistakes as we have and they’ve made it their life career to train and advise others)

I'm 2004, so I pretty much missed the age requirement cutoff by 1 year for most companies (2005), I'm trying my hardest to audition as much as I can, I've sent my applications to 5 companies and none have responded and I'm really losing hope, could you maybe make a vid for us older people on how to pass auditions and any companies that are accepting an older range?
