Im a armed security officer in gang infested areas of Atlanta and i always wanted a K9 for a partner going into vacant buildings as my backup when i was alone . sadly to be a K9 unit its not cheap a fully trained dog cost between $10k and $40k plus insurance . always loved seeing the K9 unit sticker on the patrol cars and yes there are plenty security companies that have K9 units its not just police especially the grade level of security that we are . which is basically military grade .
