Logically it's a business move. LoR and LoL are set in the same world so it isn't weird to host events for both with the same theme and topic especially when it generates profit. Not a single one is useless, the cost 1 early game Ruination +5 damage to Nexus is already broken enough as Slow lol The cost 8 is simply bonkers, everyone gets the stats and keywords of your strongest unit while on the field + their own keywords, not even for the turn? Cost 5 makes every buff permanent, and says except Barrier, so infinite Spell Shield, basically a "unaffected by card effects" unit. Wow, I though they wanted to promote their event with something less ... desperate?

So most of this Im fine with. Personally I don't care for the kda stuff, but the board with switchable tracks is neat. But I absolutely hate those new permanent spells and don't think alternate universe stuff should be a part of the core game, whether its one i dont like such as this one, or one i do such as Battlecast. This game was made not only for riot to have a card game, but also to expand the lore of runeterra. Kda is not a Runeterra band, it's just a skin line and should be that way, I'd rather see card skins than actual kda spells... I'm all for cosmetics since they don't have any really impact outside of personal aesthetics, but the cards really should not be in this game. They are not in line with the canon lore and they definitely feel super forced. They should have been restricted to labs.
