So yeah, Evelynn in League is basically a succubus, but more violent. She is a literal demon that charms her victims into wanting her before ripping them apart. She can’t feel anything at all except the satisfaction she gets from murdering people. She prolongs their suffering so that she can continue feeling something. At it’s core, she has one of the darker concepts in the whole game. Gameplay-wise she is weaker earlier on and then once she reaches a certain level she becomes permanently invisible unless she gets too close to someone. She can hit someone with a charm ability from invisibility, pop out and slice em up, and then get away. The concept of Villain suits that character VERY well haha.

"Is Evelynn a bad guy?". There are a lot of characters in League of Legends that are not purely good or bad (some good examples are in the netflix series "Arcane"). Not Evelynn though. She's just... a straight up villain 😉

It's really a spectrum of good and bad in Arcane. Some are pretty good, some pretty bad, but still have some elements that put them somewhere in between

Akali doesn´t have a solo but she recruted other members and created a new band called "True Damage", she is still in KDA though

Akalis song is The Baddest. Its not a solo, but its "her" song from the album. Seraphine is the one thay doesnt get a song, with the song, More, being her intro to the group. Riot did have 2 other songs that are meant to have been sung by Seraphine, however (given their whole pr around her release and whatnot), due to her actually being a singer in league lore.

@@kaiiser2190 this is entirely incorrect as all out was her introduction to K/DA. Thats why she literally has a K/DA skin. She wasnt a part of the original group, but in the K/DA universe, they add her to the group.

To be completely honest League has a lot of cinematics that I think you'd possibly like, and the lore behind the characters goes so much deeper than what them alone can explain. If you wanted to only get into the music end I would recommend just viewing the 'Worlds Music Videos' in order. Since Worlds is an event that changes locations sometimes the music of that year will feature an artist of the country where the event takes place (Which is how Kda came about with Gidle being said artist). Loved the no soul comment😂

Interesting note about Bailey Sok, if you don't know about her. She was actually involved in developing the choreography for Red Velvet's "Psycho" at age 15! She's a BEYOND talented dancer, and it was a lot of fun seeing her in Drum Go Dum, though I'm not quite sure how much of the League of Legends community knew who she was. The attention-to-detail is insane. There's a scene in Villain where Evelynn's ankle shifts, because she's walking on unsteady-ground. It's stuff like that that really makes it feel more realistic, even if you don't actually notice it until you've seen the video a hundred times.

They did an amazing job with that one Edit: I know some people were upset with Drum Go Dum not being animated like Villain but it makes sense that they just had a dancer doing an amazing job and having fun while doing it

Ahri is suffering from depression. The visuals are what she feels: locked in a cage, self doubt, external doubt, pressure. The lyrics are what she tells herself to get through it. This video is actually a startlingly accurate depiction of what it's like to live with depression and anxiety. I found it inspirational.

Bekah Boom is an american singer/songwriter who is deeply involved in K/DA on the production/writing side (I think she's the main composer & writer for all of K/DA's songs), and coincidentally, Bekah Boom was involved in writing all of the Blackpink songs I actually like.

I think many have already suggested it but I have a feeling you would really be thrilled at Seraphine's music...and her cover of Pop/Stars just takes that song and spins it in such an interesting way that I can just picture you just going "whoa" when the chorus hits and you hear how different, yet faithful it is to the original.

Evelynn is a demon who feeds on despair. She takes on the form of a beautiful woman to charm her victims and make them fall in love with her before torturing and killing them. In game, one of her lines is "I like the happy ones. They have so much farther to fall," implying that the more pain and despair her victim experiences, the more she can feed on. Her being in shadows for the entire video is intentional because in-game, she has permanent stealth and is only revealed when she's extremely close to someone. The only time you'll catch a glimpse of her is when she's about to kill you.

Evelynn is a demon of agony in the lore. Meaning she feeds on agony and nothing else. There are also demons for nightmare, fear, addiction and secrets. She found that easiest way to induce agony is to first make someone joyful and then tear that down. So she seduces men or women by changing her appearance to fit what they find most attractive only instead of a fun time it becomes a really unfun time!

wanted to add, evelynn has two forms, one where she is a bit less demonic looking and then a form where she is completely monstrous. madison beere is singing for evelynn in her first form while kim petras adds darker vocals to portray her demonic form.

A lot of eastern countries dont really view riot as a video game company. Theyre often referred to as a music company who makes games to promote their music. So all of the kda songs are great, true damage is great, pentakill is great, and most of their cinematics and related music are great. Also, a lot of their live performances for their world's finals are great.
