This is where you realize there are no real villains in this story and you feel for every character. Almost everybody was put in the position to fight by the people in power😢All of them are just chess pieces forced to fight against each other.

Doo shik shoots everyone at the point near the shoulders, not to kill them but just incapacitate them, as long as they get medical attention soon after. Mom, on the other hand, never misses a head shot! 😂

So when Mujin was telling Dooshik that all his subordinates were executed he actually meant that North Korea had them all k!lled for their "failure". Thats why he kept telling him not to go in the room. By him going in the room all the soldiers stationed at the presidents house would have failed at their job and all of them would be put to death for this. And in North Korea its not just the soldiers that get executed, all their families would be k!lled as well. SO really Mujin did have good reason for hating Dooshik and telling him he wasnt showing mercy. Cause al those men he showed "mercy" to ended up being executed because of him. AND he didnt even k!ll the pres either.

But it's not really Dooshik's fault that the North Korean soldiers and their families were executed for "failure". Mujin should blame the North Korean government for having those punishments in place. Dooshik was doing his job and wanted as much people to be saved as possible. He didn't want them killed and he didn't know that they would be killed. It's the North Korean government that killed his soldiers not Dooshik. I think in this situation Dooshik is the scapegoat. Because regardless of which South Korean agent went there, the result would have been the same because it's the North Korean rules that caused them and their families to be killed.

Yea you're right I was saying that mujin sees it as dooshiks fault even though it was the NK governments fault. Also to note I think the whole premise of the show is that everyone is a victim of their circumstances. The bad guys aren't really bad because they want to be but because they are forced to be.

did they mention in the series that nk killed the soldier's families as well? as far i remember, they simply mention that all of deokyoon's subordinates there got killed and that's it.

There's a strong parallel between Huisoo's dad and Choi Mujin in that they're both about their people. In the flashbacks to when Huisoo's dad was a gangster, he specifically tells his boss he wasn't a gangster for money. He was in it for his boys, the gang, his brothers. And that's basically what Choi Mujin is feeling in his flashbacks. He's distraught over the fact that his government's communist regime has executed all his men, his gang, his brothers (after Kim Doosik overpowered all of em) and that he now has to kill many more men to find enhanced, superpowered people. His men, his brothers, is what he cares about as well. It's no matter if it's government or gang, it's the bosses that fuck everyone over.

I recommend "The Fiery Priest" next too! the story about the mysterious death of an elderly priest, an NIS agent turned priest (Kim Nam-gil as mc) attempts to bring the culprits involved before law. The hilarious journey of taking down the gangsters and corrupt officials in the city. its really good drama and has comedy too so its very recommended to watch.

I think the huge guy doesn’t have powers. He’s just strong. And the scene when his supervisor wanted to tell him something but didn’t and was looking at him sadly is because the supervisor feels sorry for him to put him in this position to fight and he cares for all his subordinates.

yeah same i think that its not that he actually heals like our guy juwon.. he just doesnt feel it because moojin choi motivated him about how one who doesnt feel pain can become an elite warrior..so he is just extremely driven to become THE elite warrior and ends up not feeling the pain..

maybe his healing is not perfect like juwon but i think he indeed has power, something in between super strong and easily heal. because juwon put his head on the wall and you need more than being super strong to wake up so quick like that. also spoiler for whoever not finish the drama ❗ at the end in the juwon's restaurant, we also see how the huge guy cooking with his bare hands and just continue doing delivery work, it didn't make sense for him to do that if he can't easily heal.

When he says "they were executed" he means that the North Korean government executed them (for basically being weak), not Kim Dooshik. And, yeah, the last bulk of episodes is like one long movie, it's hard to watch them separately. And, to think... it was a week to week release back when it was airing (I think it was 2 episodes a week). THE AGONY.

about the north, they did executed their soldier. so eventhough doosik not killed any of them, all of them except deokyoon (hyujin choi) still ended up death because their goverment punish them with it since they failed to protect the president's place. that's why doekyoon (hyujin choi) is that angry and keep blaming doosik. and that flashback when he stop the huge guy that make you confused, it's more plot detail to show how deeply he care to his subordinates. he looking at the huge guy's scar and immediately remember the day when he climb that cliff in the winter to live.
