Biny thank you for bringing Henoke dude has a lot of hard learned knowledge. Although i really appreciate you challenging whatever you think isn't making sense this time i personally believe henoke is correct Biny your being idealistic and he has lived it and he is speaking realistically. Cooking won't make you any less of a man but if you cook when unsolicited that's where the females start to lose respect. I don't know what kind of woman you live around but mine are cruel. They will not take that as a sign of affection or compassion to your partner. But overall this episode is the best next to the one you had with Brook from Gugut. Also Biny can you bring waqa dude is smart

HI Bini, Henoks general idea is don't make it your primary role , the moment you make her role your primary role is the moment you lose her respect for you, I believe he is right as long as he is not saying don't support her at all. Anyway, I love your podcast, very educational and interesting!!! Thank you so much.

I watched this discussion with an open mind, trying my best to understand the Henok's point of view. At the end i reached at a conclusion that Henok is traumatized with the response to his gentle and caring nature by his ex-wife!! It's a pitty that he questioned his quality as a man and going extra milestone to get rid of it. Just from looking at him i see a very gentle and loving man who is trying to suppress it. I'm a mother of two with a very helpful husband and how I missed his support in cooking, taking care of our children and around the house when he travelled for 10 days!! I appreciated and loved him morethan ever when I realise how much he does around the house. This discussion isn't merly about cooking but about a man's trauma. This is just my opinion. I enjoyed the discussion and the fact that it's among two men with a different view on Abwuranet! Respect to you both.

Henok's main point is not a cooking thoughit is one part. His main point is about self sufficient masculin man. Who protect, provide and procrate. Henok is very wise and determined person who takes a care his childrens by cooking a wonderful meals and protecting his childrens while they play and he played with then too. What was you doing he (your husband) helped you cooking and bow you missed him there?.

If I am not wrong the gust want to say the husband do things if it seems protective and the wife do things if it seems caring. I think this is old school but this idea to be practiced in the contemporary life style depend on smartness of both husband and wife.

In the life and family of "abawera" there are no "if it seems...". He does what he thinks, else not. knowing and cultivating your nature is timeless, no old school or contemporary.....

@@abawera826 You wrote "He does what he thinks". Thinking comes after we observe our surrounding what it seems to us. Make a prediction based on the hypothesis. Test the prediction. Iterate: use the results to make new hypotheses or predictions.

Here is the best live example. Cooking is not loving expression other wise a Sheff is loving or a be loved person?

Boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen, please don't let anyone make you as bitter as this guest's ex-wife has made him to be. Thank you Bini for the level headedness and understanding of the dichotomy between being a male and masculine energy. The guest doesn't seem to have deep understanding of social psychology and doesn't seem open minded enough to question his beliefs. It was even more worrisome to hear him deny the disparity between men and women within our culture. He seems to have a lot of pain, hurt and resentment as evidently displayed by the crass assumptions that he makes about women. I like how Bini was able to make a point about the unfairness of generalizations, and how it is a limited view to see the world as black and white instead of grey. The guest doesn't understand when you mentioned that the world is not black and white, he rather diverted the topic to the binary nature of genders. No, guest! What it means when one says the world is grey is that there are more to an understanding of what a women's/men's characteristics are. Men can have feminine traits and women can have masculine traits (read more from Friedrich Nietzsche what these traits are). Anyways, I could say a lot but I'll stop here. But the guest needs therapy and to work on himself and resentment before infecting young boys' view of the world. I wish him enlightenment.

Thank GOD! I'm so much GRATEFUL for the life I have. No pain, No resentment towards anyone, even to my kids' mom. I'm full of love and positive energy. Biological sex or Gender as John Moneyis brought it, is'nt gray it is binary. The binariness is made by the Almighty(GOD). Who is friedniche to define my gender or biological sex to be gray. The roles that overlaps between the two sex does not make gender to be gray. May GOD's love shine on you!❤
I was laughing alongside Bini the whole time! The guest is poisoned with red pill ideology, and most of the men in the comments are just bitter about women. It's so sad to see.
