have you heard Stained Class or Hell Bent for Leather, let alone Unleashed in the East? He's a double bass beast, and that was in 1978 and 79!!! It's a shame he didn't go into the 80's with the band instead of the much less technical Dave Holland

@@steliosemmanouilidis5050 So I don't understand your statement, those albums are as heavy as they come. Maybe it's the production values that lead you into thinking otherwise, if they were recorded in 1991 they'll sound probably as heavy as Painkiller, Beyond the Realms of Death live is a great example of that with its up to date sound

Somehow I always support musicians that separate from their bands and start a solo career, that's the case of UDO/Accept and KK/Judas, two impressive and classical bands, the Heavy Metal gets abroad. There are plenty of other examples where we fans got the benefit of music.

This is going to be great to have Les fucking Binks and Ripper and KK!!!!! KKs priest will be great I know it. And I stilll live Judas Priest with Ritchie Faulkner. I met Ritchie on the Firepower tour a couple times and he’s a cool cool cat man. Andy has done a tremendous job considering he hasn’t played live shows in quite some time. I’m not sure what Sabbat last toured but I’m sure it was a long time ago. Anyways like I said when we had Halford return to metal with Resurrection, and people were doing the whole comparison thing, and that was that we gotta stop comparing and just enjoy the fact that we now have 2 Priests to listen to. Twice as much music! And they are both kicking serious ass and I’m super happy for K.K as he was my guy growing up (besides Dime) KK was a whammy bar mad dog and that’s just what really appeals to me. To control a guitar with either a floating bridge or a generic one way bridge and bar, you can do soooooo much with them. There is also a point where it’s too much. Lol KK is the only one who can do too much (The Sinner, Victim), and get away with an incredible and surprisingly intricate playing while diving up and down and wherever he can go with it he will. Haha. I love him for it. When he quit Priest I was literally heartbroken and felt a little bit betrayed. Lol. But I really think there’s something about Rob KK has a problem with. But seeing Glenn and KK all those times was special and I knew it at the time thank god. These new incarnations of Judas Priest and KK’s Priest is downright miraculous. Lol. Metal is really on top again and it feels great

I would trade Rob Halford, the two guitarists Ritchie and Andy for KK and Ripper and one of those guitarists to be back in Judas Priest. Ripper is younger and has more energy for the songs and KK is a better headbanger and performer as a guitarist than Ritchie and stiff Andy.
