Kuldeep ji is not the father... he is one of the Gurus of the two talented children. The Song is in Sanskrit and dedicated to Lord Krishna, depicting His Graceful, Lightning-like dance movements while dancing on 100 hoods of the vicious serpent Kaliya (here, called as Kalinga in the song). Do watch it again to follow the lyrics, they are absolutely amazing and nectarean to relish!

The song is about Krishna's dance over the multi-headed serpent. It symbolically represents the positive energy that krishna is, and how his concept has the power to dominate all negativity ( serpent represents negativity). A yogi doesn't just counter life's problems, he is dancing his way out of misery with ease. The song, choses sanskrit words carefully, to create an effect of footstep sounds and percussion sounds. The lyrics themselves are staggered along with actual rhythm sounds of the "mridangam" like dheem, taam, tai, tatai etc. A beautiful piece of art recreated by very talented singers. Yout reaction to it was beautiful to watch.

In Sanatan Dharm, you will find many ways to connect with the Supreme one (krishna). You can chant, sing, dance, worship, cry, penance, surrender. These all are just way to express your love for him. If you are good in singing, then sing him and if you are good in dance then do it for him. If you cannot then just chant. So it doesn't matter whether the person is deaf & dumb, blind, handicapped, young or old. He always has more than one alternatives to connect with the absolute. Hare Krishna 🙏❤️🌸

This is not bhajan but tillana. Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi are performed for tillanas. If bhajan is any song or art dedicated to gods then this is bhajan. But for us bhajan is a song sung by devotees from heart without considering classical music rules.

The language for which subtitle were given was Sanskrit and the one with no subtitle was not a language, it is just part of Indian Carnatic music, it can be thought of ancient classical form of beat boxing😅. These rythmic words are just used in classical music between lyrics or for any dance.
@subhashanvs32292 жыл бұрын
Actually this is for dance only. Tillanas are composed for Bharatanatyam or Kuchipudi. It would be feast for eyes and ears if someone would dance for this in a classical consort.

Wishing you two a Happy Viswakarma Puja(Viswakarma, the architect of the Gods) that you had come across during the jagannath temple videos. Also you have Mahalaya coming on your way on 25th, the day when Maa Durga and her children descend from Mount Kailash. On Mahalaya, devotees bathe in the Ganga and offer prayers to their ancestors. We celebrate by listening and watching dramatic renderings of Durga's journey from Kailash against all evil forces. And then 1 week to mahalaya, starts Durga Puja. Hope you cover something on Mahalaya and then Durga puja. Hari Om.

The language used in this composition is pure Sanskrit. Sanskrit has got a very vast vocabulary. Even today Sanskrit's vocabulary is at least ten times more than any language on this planet including English which even after absorbing words from around the world's languages can not compare with the vocabulary Sanskrit. Not only this, Sanskrit has various words for the same things that it can use to appropriate or suit any circumstance. Here it is Krishna's dance over kaaliya's (black serpent) hood so the word chosen by Poet of Sanskrit are a bit playful, witty, alos suit the need of tala (beat) and laya (rythm) of shaashtriya (classical) dance i.e. Katthak in this case and also suit to the divine yet childlike and happy mood of Krishna after winning over Kaliya Naag. Another example of what I am saying Sanskrit you can note the difference of choice of words used in Shri Hari strotam and Shiva Tandav-strotam. In the former the choice of Sanskrit words is subtly, saumya (soothing) and deep. In case tanadava the chpice of words is strong and suiting to the Tandava Nritya of Bhagawan Shiva. - Hope I made the point clear, despite answering your query about the language used is Pure Sanskrit in these Hymns of written in praise of dance by Krishna over the very hoods Kaaliya Naag or say at the very hoods of the problems of life.
