No Shri Hari Stotram is not written by Swami Brahmananda but it is composed by Swami Brahmananda. But the writer of Shri Hari Stotram is either Ved Vyas or somebody like Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya. Respects to Swami Brahmananda for composing this stotram. Any stotram or any holy verse written in Sanskrit is very old it's only written by God's incarnation and jagadgurus. It might be almost 5000 yrs old.

I am not gonna debate on its historicity but yea u also must know that even today several people know sanskrit and write literature on it. Its not that sanskrit just bcoz its an old language, all literature has to be 5k years old... Several hymns and praises were written down the ages by scholars. Like Hanuman Chalisa was actually not there in Valmiki Ramayan which is almost 2500BC but Hanuman Chalisa was later introduced in Tulsidas Ramayan 1900BC.
