i totally agree with you i have a 94 f150 with the 5.o v8 that i replaced and its running really well. its a shame to seeee these older cars and trucks die they could of went to people that collect cars / pickup trucks.

In "Cash For Clunkers", the majority of the vehicles that were destroyed were not clunkers at all. Most were nice used vehicles that we're just gas guzzlers. Also, you didn't get cash for clunkers. You got a rebate on a more fuel efficient vehicle on a trade in of a gas guzzler A more approbate name for the program would have been "Trade In's For Gas Guzzlers". Many people also saw this as a waste of perfectly good used vehicles, and were infuriated by it. Many may not agree with this. But I'd like to see this done to vehicles used in violent crimes, like kidnap murders or drive by shootings. That would help offer closure to the victims families. The way I see it, such vehicles are like Sandy Hook School in Newtown Connecticut. That school was back hoed in response to the mass shooting that took place there. The gunman's house was also back hoed, and is to be left undeveloped as sacred ground.
