The rate of dearness allowance is the main factor which will play a vital role in determining the 8th CPC Fitment factor. The effect date of 8th pay commission recommendation will be from 1.1.2026. So to arrive a revised pay scale in the new pay commission, the rate of Dearness Allowance till this date would be neutralised. Subsequently the rate of neutralised DA has to be merged with the Existing Basic Pay. As we need to calculate the new revised pay by taking this DA neutralisation into account, the 8th pay commission will propose a Fitment Factor or multiplication factor to arrive the new revised pay.
8th pay commission when will come ?
Since the effect date of 8th Pay Commission will be 1.1.2026, the rate of DA as on this date will be taken into account for determining the 8th CPC Fitment factor. If we assume the rate of DA as on 31.12.2025 is 70 percent, the proposed 8th CPC multiplication Factor after neutralisation of DA will be 1.70. If the Pay commission recommends any increase in the pay revision that would be included in the 8th CPC Fitment factor. It depends on how much Minimum Pay the Pay Commission would recommend in 8th Pay revision. Accordingly 8th pay commission basic salary will be determined
What will be the salary in 8th Pay Commission?
The 8th Pay Commission salary and Fitment factor to be decided on various factors. One of which is Dr.Aykroyd formula
The Minimum Pay will be determined using the norms set by 15th Labour Conference and basic food requirements to a family as per Dr.Aykroyd recommendations. So many factors are involved in determining the Minimum Pay including consumer Price Index which is used in DA calculation.
what is Fitment factor and minimum Pay of Previous pay commissions
Lat us see the Fitment Factor, percentage of Increase in Minimum Pay of the previous Pay Commissions.
Pay Commission Fitment Factor % Of Increase Minimum Pay
4th - 27.6% Rs.750
5th CPC - 31% Rs.2550
6th CPC 1.86 54% Rs.7000
7th CPC 2.57 14.29% Rs.18000
8th CPC - - -
So determining the Fitment factor involves the rate of dearness Allowance as on 31.12.2025 and the increase in Minimum Pay to be arrived by 8th Pay Commission.
If the Minimum Pay has 20% increase after DA neutralisation, the 8th pay Commission Fitment factor will be 1.96 assuming the rate of DA as on 31.12.2025 is 70%.

The DA payment due for central Government employees was not frozen, when the economy was such, that the Chandra Shekhar Government has to keep Gold with the world Bank to settle the Balance of payment, however we don't find any valid reason to denie the Payment of 18 months DA arrears due to the centeral government employees, if the economy is bad, then where is the need to spend money on new Parliament building, and purchase of new air craft, All government employees should teach the government a lesson by electing the Congress government in 2024 General Loksabha elections.

In reference to recommendations of 5th CPC ,point No.99 and Chaper No.171, the next CPC needs to be set up after completion of 6th years . Accordingly the 8 th CPC to be set up in the year 2022,but it is not still set up.

8th Pay commission will surely be implemented with a better formula. When Govt has taken initiative to honour IBA unions proposal to increase 17% wage revision, I am sure Central Govt employees too get the wage benefit. And now without officers support all veterans are on the struggle to get justice done for a better wage and correction of all anomalies which will never go as a waste. Elections are also fast approaching . Its time for leaders to honour genuine requests.

6th CPC अभीतक 14/6/2022 के संशोधन पत्र आने के उपरांत भी 1/1./2006 के पूर्व के पैन्शनरौ पर अभी तक लागू नहीं किया गया हे।अगर यही क्रम आगामी रहता हे तो आगे आयोग की क्या जरुरत हे।

Don't aspect, 8th CPC will come. As per my opinion, on reaching the DA at 50%, the Government will merge 25% plus some additional multiplication factor may be done into your basic and accordingly the new basic will be declared by the government which will be effective from 01 Jan 2026.

मेरे पिता की मृत्यु 2021 में हुई थी पुरी कागज कारवाई अहमद नगर से इलाहाबाद तक जमा करवा दी इलाहाबाद से एक पेंशन प्रोसेसर में लेटर आया था 8 महिने हो गए पता नहीं राम भरोसे में चल रही है केंद्र वेतन आयोग यह हाल तो एक भूतपूर्व सैनिक के परिवार के साथ हो रहा है सरकार परेशानी के सिवाय कोई योजना नहीं चला रही है सब दुखी रहो योजनाएं हैं

2024 मे भाजपा मोदी आने के बाद वेतन आयोग और वेतन खत्म होगा साथ मे पेंशनरों की पेंशन भी गेस सब्सिडी की तरह सबसे पहले सभी की पेंशन बराबर होगी फिर आधी होगी इसके बाद धीरे धीरे खत्म होगी। और सरकारों का पेंशन बोझ देश हित मे खत्म होगी। OPS तो कभी वापस आना ही नहीं। क्योंकि सरकारों को आपका वोट कभी नहीं चाहिए उसके लिए तो ई वही एम और चुनाव आयोग व्यवस्था करता रहेगा।
