K-PO DX5000 Plus service menu items.

Just a brief scroll thru the menu on the K-PO....
No, I will not enable your service menu. No I won't give out the program I wrote to enable it.
I am sure the real one will eventually leak..... use that when it happens :)

No pgm needed on a DX-5000 Plus to get into the service menu. Turn radio off, push FUNC + turn radio on, keep pushing FUNC followed by R.B., NB/ANL and DW in a row (like 1. 2. 3). Let go of FUNC and you're in the service menu. Scroll with up/down or with the channel switch. To read out the settings push ptt on the mike, turn channel switch at the same time to change the parameters. Turn radio off and on again and it works like it should (mine is a V7). 73's from Holland.

At the time that procedure was not public. I wrote my own program to enable/disable it. If you know it, sure you don't need a program.... but 3 months ago.... it wasnt widely known and even then I would not have advertised it.

The anytone at 5555 plus is a fine radio and cheaper than a Stryker 955 both are made by the same company

Its' the 4th and 5th adjustment. BFO and VCO. But you need a decent frequency counter.

I went into the service menu of my anytone at 5555 plus and did some adjustments turn down am dead key turn up the mod and now it really drives my Texas Star dx500 pretty good I get crystal clear and loud audio reports I didn't mess with ssb adjustments.
