Shinhwa is the longest running Kpop band in history. They’re the first group to insist on live performances. Eric, the leader, is the first idol to go into acting. They are all actors except for Hyesung. Current idols exist because of them. Big Bang and BTS idolised Shinhwa. Try Shinhwa newer songs like Venus, Touch, This Love, Sniper.

@@itstainatime yess shinhwa is active with all 6 member still active they under their own label shinhwa company but have some trouble in using their group name cause it still trade mark by sm entertainment after 12 year they won their trademark to their name.

From Sech Kies, you should check out a song called Chivarly, You need to find the right video, but the title is written in English and listen to the intro they did during a live tv performance on MBC that they didn't do any other time. But Eun Ji Won was notorious for ad libing during live performances.

Instead of just listening to the groups that are known internationally by K-pop fans, you should check out other groups and songs where there are much better songs. Check out groups such as Koyote (Genuine, Miryon), Jinsean ft. Uhm Jung Hwa (Tell Me), Roo'ra (Angel Who Lost Wings), Klon (Come Back, Kung Di Sha Bah Rah), Cool (Before The Sadness Comes, Destiny), Zaza (In The Bus), Solid (Soulmates), Young Turks Club (Jung), B.B (Tragic Love), Goofy (Sad Love Story, The Rule Of The Game), Space A (Sexy Man, Scarlet Letter), Up (Poyo, Poyo) to name just a few. I only listed up to two songs per group, but some have many other songs.

BoA is considered the queen if kpop so she is THE 1st gen female singer. But for groups theres: Fin k.l- blue rain (sechskies female counterpart, was created as rival to S.E.S, like sechskies to HOT) S.E.S (HOT female counterpart) - Twilight Zone, Be Natural, 悲歌 (Sad Song), Love, Cause im your girl, i Love you, dreams come true, ive been waiting for you, ghetto style, Silver, blue sky, slip away Baby Vox- (Kind of like a girl group shinhwa) permission, get up, killer Big Mama- Break Away, Again, The Day, Wine, Woman - these women are just their own separate cateograry.

Do you like R&B? A lot of first gen k r&b i can swear by as well as some pop songs I can give you some songs from these groups that I would absolutely swear by, but there is also a group In first gen that did specially R&B called Fly to the Sky. And God overall us very R&B/hipop. Hiphop for first gen groups are groups like Jinusean, 1tym, and Uptown. One of Uptowns members is half black too

​​@@itstainatimeok so for sechskies, the song you listened to here wasn't the best introduction to them to be honest. They were HOTs rival (think like how Rhianna was meant to be the answer to Beyonce, except in this case sechskies took off as almost equally successful) and you reacted to one of HOTs best and one of their worst lol😂 (in my opinion, there are specfic songs in HOTs discography that are timeless but overall sechskiws has the better discography as a whole) So Sechskies- they don't really do R&B, but the songs I would swear by are : Missing you, Hunch, and Couple for chill pop, Last, Say, While your Sleeping and Do you Know my Heart for Ballads and Come to me baby, Celebrate Tonight, Crying game, Together Forever, Walking in the Rain, Come On, Abandonment and A+ for upbeat hiphop songs.

R&b/rap In I- chill hiphop Its been raining since you left me- chill hiphop Line up- this is hiphop/rock The end of my inferiority complex- hiphop Time Will Tell- chill hiphop By your Side, Free to Fly, As much as I loved you, the Promise of H.O.T, Unity as Beautiful as this one- These are all pop ballads or r&b ballads

They were meant to be the next big boy group after Sechskies and HOT left the company (they are all from the same company SM) and while they were popular they didnt really hit HOTs success and at the time SM was going bankrupt and their main source of income was female Soloist BoA who is considered the Queen of kpop today as without her a lot of the kpip idols we have today wouldn't be here. H.O.T. is an acronym for "High-five Of Teenagers", hence we typically refer to them as H-O-T instead of Hot. Their actual debut song/title track in their album was titled "Warriors' Descendents (천사의후애)" if my memory didn't fail me. But this song talks about societal problems faced by teenagers & was not allowed for broadcasting for "comebacks/promotion" (i think SM remastered the MV you can check it out), hence they made another mv for Candy and use it for comeback shows/to promote on music bank etc. Sechkies is pronounced as Jackies, they're from "rival company" DSP entertainment, while YG entertainment released "Jinu Sean"/"1TYM" hip hop "boyband/groups" which stayed true to the "real deal 1st gen of kpop idols" who are known as "Seo Tai Ji & boys", of which one of the "boys" is the founder of YG entertainment.

IT IS Seongjae's DAD!!!After the group disbanded in 2000, he disappeared from the limelight..before ROTSM, Infinity Challenge reached out to him for schekies reunion, only then he agreed to appear on tv for the first time in years
