DBSK and TVXQ is the same, no sub unit or anything. DBSK is short for their Korean name Dong Bang Shin Ki, while TVXQ is taken from their Chinese name and used globally. There is also THSK - Tohoshinki for their Japanese activities. We usually refer to their old OT5 stuff as DBSK. Bolero is much much better live btw. Oh man, you NEED to listen to the live versions from both songs. Hey Girl is so good live Edit: TVXQ did NOT have an official main vocal. If so the boys themselves always mentioned both Junsu and Jaejoong as their "lead/main", because the positions did not exists as they do today. In fact, main vocal used to be called lead vocal up until early/mid 2nd gen.

in my opinion, they are a truly balanced vocal group, since their debut, their line distribution are not too imbalance as they arrange the lines based on the "feel" of the song that they are projecting, as in they all take turn to be the main vocals. all of them can rap very well too, but most of the time from what I recall, Mickey and U-Know does most of the raps but nonetheless, it is fair to say all of them can be main vocal depending on which song. They do all genres very well!!! Hey girl was also one of my FAVE!!!! Tonight too!!

Before i discovered and follow exo, tvxq used to be my ultimate group, perfection in every angle (vocal, dance, visual), but their separation broke my heart and i stop following them ever since. Their discography is gold, and you should listen to more of their songs (especially when they are 5) - love in the ice, doushite (ballads are my weakness)
