Indeed what a performance that was!!! Small correction though. If you where referring to their performance of bolero during the secret code tour. That was in 2009. But apart from that i completely agree. They are phenomenal performers.

Well, TVXQ originally debuted as an acapella dance group so all of the members were vocalists that were very compatible with each other in harmonization. U-know just happened to take part in baritone sub vocal so his voice was outshined by others but he's indeed a good singer. TVXQ are famous for their live performance, so please check out bolero live as a quintet and as a duo. Their voices with the live band is a chef kiss!

Jaejoong was the main vocalist due to his ability to change his voice and sing a vast variety of genres, but Junsu was always close behind with his amazing vocals, great control and unbelievable stamina during live performances. Changmin is the youngest of the five, and although he wasn't the main vocal, he was the king of high notes; he could also sing quite a few different genres and had great control of his voice despite his young age. All are still very impressive live singing. As a note, their discography was very different in Japan as they were catering to a different audience. In general, Japan is more focus on the vocals and the melody than in the spectacle or the dance, so all Japanese MVs are rather simple, even "boring", mostly close up of their faces. Where as Kpop music videos will be more visually impressive. Regardless, live performances will always be 10 times greater than their music videos.

10:37 he is Kim Junsu, known as XIA JUNSU. He is now a musical singer-actor also, since his career as a singer was heldback for some years, he got opportunity to try a musical theater. Junsu, Jaejoong and Yoochun (the one with husky voice), they had a lawsuit dispute with the previous agency, since it is one of three big entertainment agency in south korea, they could make broadcasting company to blacklist them to appear in TV. so yeah.. anyway, you should try listen to Junsu's solo song, he sings for many drama ost. or if you can find a video where he sing on musical stage as Mozart, etc.

You should check out their song Tonight! Now that's a sing off. That's Junsu who impressed you. He's honestly the most impressive singer I've ever seen live. And as for JYJ I would check out live version of In Heaven. Also yes anything of TVXQ is better live abd bolero is one of those magical ones live as well as Love in the ice.

Since 2010, the three who left the group, have been treated unequally, as they have been denied access to the media in Korea, and were also blocked in Japan for several years. If they weren't so talented and if they didn't have the support of their loyal fans, they wouldn't have survived at all. Find time to watch their 2009 concert The Secret Code! This concert best shows the capacity of TVXQ5 and why they are number 1 in Asia and have the biggest fandom at that moment.

as much as i like watching the mv. tvxq is all about their live performance. no matter when they r 2 or when they r 5, they have a huge standard for live performance. its spectacularly amazing that u cant just watch it once. please watch the live version. they r better there. if u feel the mv is good, u need to watch the live

In fact, this is the MV of their last year as a quintet. And their most extravagant video is from their first year "Tri-angle" from their self-titled album. So it's not about budget, but more about the director's vision. In addition, Bolero was the theme song for the Japanese movie "Dance Subaru" about a ballerina who overcomes the odds to follow her dreams. Thank you for your reaction, I was really looking forward to it and am glad to see it. The song is truly beautiful, but a studio recording can never compare to a live performance. Live performance is always more emotional, revealing the song better. And they are very good in live performances. Please take a look it. Like their other wonderful ballads. This song was actually the theme song of a Japanese movie about ballet hence the theme of this MV. They didn’t use any of the movie scenes though

Yesss actually when they were 5, yunho was the weakest vocalist and changmin is about 3rd. I'd say the rank is probably 1. Junsu 2. Jaejoong 3. Changmin. Junsu has the best vocal technique, jaejoong has the most versatile voice (he can do angelic to rock with ease) and changmin had the most power and range. Yoochun had the most soothing/emotional voice and was the best rapper and knew how to compose music as well. Yunho is a great dancer and rapper. With the exception of yunho they could all be lead vocalists in another band, yunho would still be considered a really great vocalist in any other band though. But i think all 5 members improved a lot after leaving... Because there's less people to cover your weaknesses.

BTS came from a very small unknown company and as soon as they started making money, the company started giving the fans more and more Quality content to the fans. SM has sooooo much to learn....
