Hey Robbie I totally understand de-motivation can be a killer sometimes espically on a project like this. But end you just gotta keep your head up and #staycommitted !! And even though you're putting all this into a casual project car and not a dream car, you can always finish it and sell it to a viewer or somebody to get your money back. That and at least you'll know you learned a lot in the end! Its all about the experience. Also dont worry from what I've read, including myself we all love your videos no matter what. They're all super intertaining and enjoyable to watch. Keep up the good work!

@@MyKFloo I've lived for 21 years in France now and never heard about a tuque once, we say "bonnet" here, and I'm not talking about the tea drinking cousin of the hood
@brendanmcfarlane87523 жыл бұрын
For your hood prop situation, look into "bonnet/hood strut kits". They're basically aftermarket brackets and struts that go between somewhere on your fenders and your bonnet hinges and give you gas struts holding up your bonnet rather than the stick thingie,. basically the same setup as whats on your trunk/tailgate/hatch, whatever you call it.

Haha is VDub boys use hybrid oil pans, upper half aluminum and lower half steel, so when it hits it dents instead of cracking, see if they have anything like that for your car. At least if it’s not cause oil pressure issues after bottoming out you can at least get it home and just replace the bottom steel part. Looking good so far!!

Maby to solve your ground clearance and directly also the oil system: go dry sump, it's way smaller and it has a bigger oil storage. And it is easier to have when making big power because it doesn't splash and you don't need a dipstick for the oil because you have a reservoir on the side.
@bartsimpson49833 жыл бұрын
MPC, K Tuned, Wireworx, and Downstar will be your best friends for your swap needs Btw you should install those little struts for the hood so you can delete the regular little metal prop... it’ll look way cleaner and it’s more convenient
