I grew up in Albuquerque, NM. I got my degree at the local university. But it wasn't until I bought my first house and got my first real job that required me getting up at "grown up time" that I realized that there was a cereal manufacturing plant in our city! Every morning for 5 years I would wake up, have a cup of coffee, get in my car, and then drive on Paseo Del Norte passing by that sweet, sweet smell of sugary cereal being made. And every morning, that was the moment I woke up. It always reminded me of being a kid and eating Cap'n Cruch! And it always put me in a good mood. I'd roll down my window just take in the smell when there was a big batch that they were making. And in my mind, as I reflect on it, it always seemed like they made their best batches right as the sun was cresting over the Sandia Mountains. This comedian just made me remember a thing from decades ago. This comic is a Canadian Treasure. Preserve him.

Yes, we Yanks like our sugar-sweetened cereals... Our Cap'n Crunches, our Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles, our Count Chocula, Boo Berry and Franken Berry, I could go on... Nothing better as a kid on a Saturday morning then to pour yourself a huge bowl of sugar cereal, plop down in front of the tv and watch 4 hours of cartoons then head outside w/ your baseball bat and glove, jumping on your bike and heading to the baseball field to play pick-up games until it was dinner time. All energy supplied by sugar cereal. Good times.
