【叩寂寞，求知音】斲琴大師林立正的故事

50年前，一首流傳兩千年、還代表華人音樂上過外太空的古琴曲《流水》，把遠洋船長林立正帶回了陸地，義無反顧投入斲琴領域（斲琴，指古琴製作的工藝技術）。唯有千年古木，能做出好琴，林立正為了古琴工藝，投入的不只是時間、畢生的積蓄，還有家庭關係。砸大錢收集唐朝到清朝的歷代古木，還花錢租倉庫給木頭住，林立正為斲琴藝術的熱愛與付出，不為家人所理解，在古琴與家人的生計間拉扯，是林立正打了一生的仗。
幸好他還有唯一的知己-次子林法。古琴演奏家林法，在父親半哄半騙下投入古琴領域，愛上了古琴。林立正與林法，是家人、是師徒、是知己，一切的衝突、誤解與家庭對立，在一同進入藝術的領域之後，有了出口。
"Liu shui," a guqin (a seven string plucked instrument) melody that stood two thousand years of time and traveled through space, has brought captain Lin Li-Cheng back from the ocean to land 50 years ago, and devoted himself to the realm of guqin making ever since. (NASA played "liu shui" in the Voyager as a representative of Asian music genre, in hopes to communicate with the extraterrestrial.)
Only the thousand-years-old wood could be made into a fine guqin; therefore in order to make the finest guqin, Lin not only invested his time, his life savings, but it also costed him his relationship with his family. He spent a large sum of money to collect the ancient woods from the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. He even spent money on storage units to store the woods. Lin's passion and dedication for the art of guqin making was not understood by his family. The task of juggling between guqin and the survival of his family is a battle that Lin fought for his entire life.
Fortunately he found a soulmate in his second son, Lin Fa. Lin Fa, a guqinist, fell in love and into the realm of guqin through his father's influence and coaxing. Lin Li Zheng and Lin Fa are family, master and apprentice, and soulmates. After entering the same artistic realm, all the conflicts and misunderstandings that once separated the family, has brought them together.

算是翻新，老琴木翻製新琴，會沿用舊琴名，這在中國古琴界很正常，做琴的木頭當然是越老越好，彈出來越有韻味 但老而不朽的木頭難得，老琴木就是上佳的素材
