എത്രയാണെന്നൊന്നും അറിയില്ലല്ലോ ....ഓരോയിടത്തും വെള്ളം കിട്ടുന്ന സ്ഥലത്താണോ ഇതു നിൽക്കുന്നത്? എങ്കിൽ നല്ലോണം വളർന്നിട്ടുണ്ടാവണം പതിനാലു വര്ഷം ആകുമ്പോൾ, അത് നല്ല രീതിയിൽ വളർന്നിരിക്കണം...... ഇതിന്റെ ചുറ്റളവ് എത്രയായി എന്നറിയില്ലല്ലോ. ഓരോ സ്ഥലത്തും വളർച്ചയിൽ വ്യത്യാസങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുമെല്ലോ. ഏതായാലും പതിനാലു വര്ഷം വളർച്ച ആയതിനാൽ , ഒരു അഞ്ചോ പത്തോ വര്ഷം കൂടി കഴിഞ്ഞു മുറിക്കുന്നതാവും നല്ലത്. തല്ക്കാലം വേണമെങ്കിൽ, ഈ തേക്കിന്റെ ചില്ലകളും ഇലകളും നല്ലോണം അരങ്ങി കൊടുക്കുക.....അപ്പോൾ സൂര്യ പ്രകാശം ഉണ്ടാകും. ഇതിന്റെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു ഒന്നരയോ രണ്ടോ മീറ്റർ വീതിക്കു നീളത്തിൽ വാരം കോരുന്ന പോലെ മണ്ണ് മാറ്റിയിട്ടു വളവും മണ്ണും യോജിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടു മിഴാവാക്കി രീതി പോലെ അനുകരിച്ചു പഴ മരങ്ങൾ നടാം.
