It took longer from 36-40 mph than it did to get from 0-36mph. The time it took from 36-40 mph you would’ve just been at 50mph if you would’ve just shifted at 36mph in that same time span.

He wasnt actually going 40 mph when the speedometer was sitting there. Wheel spin causes the speedo to shoot up which gives the appearance of him sitting on limiter going no where but he was still accelerating to that speed. I hope that makes sense. It’s the equivalent of a big supercharged v8 spinning tires, the Speedo will shoot up to 80-100 even if they are actually going 60 mph. The problem comes down to traction, not his driving
