Hey I’m trying to look for the build series on the channel, and only part 6 is showing up KZbin says the rest are unavailable :( trying to build my own would really appreciate if you could fix it because based on your other videos with it you have the most detailed build on KZbin!

Hey, love the project! I've recently finished my AWD Rsx Type S and I just scored a honda insight and 06 civic si! I had a couple of questions. Do you have an email or social media account where I can ask you a couple of questions regarding the swap? I've watched the whole build series but there were a few things I didn't see (or might've missed) covered. I'd greatly appreciate the help as I work toward shredding the tires off my new (to me) insight!

Chai Moua Look up Hasport for the motor mounts. LHT Performance has been putting K motors in Insights for along time and have a lot of great information, they even do the AWD conversions as well.

With the tsx cams did you run it with a custom tune?

How did you do the wiring? Was the wiring harness just a direct swap?

Yes we just used the CJs wiring harness. I believe it was a direct swap plus the insight starter wire from the relay had to be grounded

What do you think of the GAZ rear shocks? Have you checked those out as an option?

Since this video we have installed GAZ shocks and absolutely love them! I would say they are a necessity for any k swap

Yes it is! Its running very good and we were actually going to make an update video soon as its driven around 15k kms

@@jdmodsgarage how come you've only driven it around 10,000 miles in 1.5 years? What was the biggest issue you've had since then? I'm picking up a k20z1 and transmisson tomorrow for my insight :)

Its only a winter car really. We have 6 cars and only a 30km commute to work haha. Our cars don't rack up kms too quickly :p.

Supercharge the insight not to much power and different than turbo
