K24 RBB Cylinder Head porting time lapse

Today video is a time lapse of the porting process of a k24 RBB cylinder head, This one got a little bit more port work than usual as it was going to my friend A-Aron at Speed factory racing and will be used with our first godzilla deck CNC k20 motor.

So many of the tsx rbb heads get tossed for a k20 head not knowing porting makes theem shine

K20 has a smaller chamber for raised comp. That's probably why.

Question aren’t the water passage way to close to the porting area and porting that head weakens it i just brought a k20z3 because that reason am confused

the cores are different yes and thicker in some areas than others

They have the biggest valves and best cams oem they just see the ports match it’s going to rip hard

So you grinding down the valve guides? Thought you have to remove guides to clean everything up. Looks like you grinded them down a bit in the first pic.

i did i shaped them

You can do whatever you want, I personally would never shave the guides because you risk the valve having play...when the valve has play and is under high rpm....kaboom
