K24 VTC Actuator replacement, due to vtc rattle

If you’re handy definitely a doable job, just pay attention to what you do. Vvt solenoid oil control should be replaced along with the actuator. Videos a bit long but hopefully it helps. This was on a 04 crv . Most k series will be the same but may require a different degree actuator.

Wow, just wow. You went all that way and didn't replace the VC gasket. Even worse, you used RTV. Yikes bro! I have to hand it to you for being brave. Hope its running good. That particular vehicle is solid af.

@@FixinshipwithDavevc looked good. And yeah I’ve had issues with even new vc gaskets sealing so I always add a bit of rtv on Honda vc gaskets. It’s running solid with no leaks. Yeah it’s been great vehicle. I appreciate the feedback.
