Hey brother have you ever experienced any stalling issues due to bad timing or cam, crank, throttle position sensor issues? I was doing some hot runs and everything was fine. Then while I was at a stop at idle my car stumbled and stalled. I tried starting it again and it almost started. Then after 10 long starting attempts it started and I babied it home. I haven't been able to duplicate the issue. Plugs look good it revs good , no back firing. Worried about driving it and stalling again. Any input would greatly help.

My tuner said that if I exceed 220 degrees that the tune would shut the car off. He said back to back runs on a hot day is a recipe to over heat the oil and toast the rod bearings. My fuel feed line in the tank was disconnecting also. After all that, still sometimes on a hot day, if I stall out it takes a while to start but starts and is fine.

you do realize that the timing chain does not know where it is when it comes to timing the engine right? you can skip 20 teeth as long as there is no slop between the two cam gears it does not matter witch link is where on any given sprocket. dont freak poeple out those black marks on the chains are just for timing with the cover off its a added security factor lol

It most definitely important where the chain is on the sprockets. It's not just about "slack" there needs to be a certain amount of links in between all the sprockets (cam and crank) And yes the black timing Mark's aren't important especially if your just doing a cam swap or anything done those lines. Please do not come in here saying false information misleading people that are trying this for the first time. This isnt for experienced mechanics. This video is for people that have some experience but isnt 100% sure how to do it. So the more information I give them the better 👍🏻

@@itsjustabasersx yea 9 a chain is a chain man lol it does not have more links on one end then the other done hundreds of them and not once cared where the links layed. If there is to many links between the two gears you can tell very easily it’s not hard . You got people believing if they slide the chain a tooth they are doomed witch is way more misleading than anything I said lol.
