Why we dont have more muslim historians like him who are also connected with Islam?
@dova2382 жыл бұрын
Yh it’s so sad to know there’s barely any Islamic historians who are historians and so deeply connected to Allah SWT. Finding this was like a gem super rare, but Allah Knew and guided me to this knowledge elhamdulilah to remind us of who we are and give us our history into what happened in the past and to know who’s in the wrong and what we should do to counter that and possibly bring back the Khilafa again Inshallah.

Unfortunately Muslims in general have neglected history, including Ulama. That said, perhaps there are many more Muslims doing history that we don't know about. And if there aren't, hopefully lectures like this will inspire more practicing Muslims to do history

Abdul Hamid said ""I won't sell anything, not even an inch of this territory because this country does not belong to me but to all Ottomans. My people won these lands with their blood. We give what we have the way we got it in the first place." They finally offered 150 million British gold pieces. I rejected this as well and told them: 'I would never agree with you even if you offer not 150 million British gold but all the gold in the entire world. I served the Muslim community for more than 30 years. I did not let my forefathers down. Following my final response, they agreed on my dethronement and sent me to Thessaloniki. I pray to Allah, I did not accept to establish a new state on Palestinian lands on the Ottoman State and the Islamic community."

Where did you learn the history from. Turkidh tv series? We lost massive lands thank to him and he fled with the enemy. I understand how non Turks are talking so fondly of him as he was also a caliphate but as a history student and most importantly as a Turk I dont like Abdülhamid. He was a traitor!

@@aysenaisa6207 Abdülhamid II failed the Turks by clinging to power at the cost of the nation’s future. He prioritized his own authority over the well-being of the people, suspending the 1876 constitution and crushing reformist movements that could have modernized the empire. Instead of uniting the diverse populations or empowering Turkish identity, he wasted resources on Pan-Islamism-a policy that did little to stop the empire’s collapse. He lost key territories like Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Bosnia while making empty promises of Ottoman strength. Worst of all, his reign divided the empire internally. Abdülhamid’s fear of change crippled the Turks’ chance to build a strong, unified future. If anything, his refusal to embrace reforms makes him a traitor to the Turkish people, as he delayed progress while our enemies grew stronger. At the end he fled w the enemy.

"Not for the weight of the world in gold will I sell Palestine". I love the history of the Ottoman Empire. The TREACHERY of Great Britain knows no bounds. Just like when they tried to destroy Scotland. Thus the word, "treachery". Old Scottish song re: the Islands off of the coast.

İ really relate to your way of teaching, a real opening of the mind. The Turkish language struggled greatly with the Arabic script as it is a lot closer to the Latin pronunciation, the Turkish language can now be learned by millions on earth, that was the goal and yes it has a lot of İslam spirit in it

This so called historian is promoting hatred and discrimination. What is a so called ‘Islamicate language’? The Pakistanis discriminated against Bengalis before 1971 because they said Bengali wasn’t Islamic enough. Since it is based on Sanskrit. Pakistanis wanted Urdu only to be the official language because it was an ‘Islamicate language’. It caused the war of Liberation from which Bangladesh was created after much bloodshed. So we have to be careful when categorising languages. Most people don’t speak Urdu or Arabic within majority of Muslim communities worldwide. We must respect that reality.
@sofiaruss89584 жыл бұрын
That's your regional problem ..it got nothing to do with muslim worldwide..
@UmiKhawlah4 жыл бұрын
It is because majority of scholars are using these languages so that is our problem... leave nationalism and hold the rope of ummah then you will be interested in every language that can help you to understand your deen
@noorhayati33824 жыл бұрын
I am a Pakistani but sorry to say that the reason of separation wasn't the language there was a lot of other things.
@nastyalfred4 жыл бұрын
Now in Bangladesh you have Bengalis discriminating against Bengalis. You have Bangladesh Govt harassing poor vulnerable Rohingya Muslims and yet Rohingya speak Bengali as well. What is going to be your arguments now?
@fuadahmed55014 жыл бұрын
@@nastyalfred the Pakistanis oppressed Bengalis specifically because they thought Urdu was an ‘Islamicate’ language. They looked down on Bangla language and culture as being ‘Hindu’ because its origins were in Sanskrit. This is clearly not the case in Bangladesh. So your example is pointless. It’s dangerous to say some languages are more Islamic than others. It creates hatred and discrimination. Thankfully this so called historian only teaches at a Turkish university. He wouldn’t find a job in his native UK where intellectual rigour is more important than ideological considerations in wannabe Sultan Erdogan’s realm.
