If you have a Dollar Tree near by, a good hack for weathering and rust is their 3 pack of upholstery pens. The whole set is a 1.25. Check it out.

Use a stack of off-brand Post-it notes to mix your epoxy. It's easy to check if it's cured, then peel and pitch. A palette knife works really well for mixing.

You struck on something I gotta remember weathering interiors, first thing coffee cups and that time you missed the cup holder and that full cup ended up in the carpet/floor mats. Just chalk it up to the truck drinks coffee too. "Like your Weather Tech floorpans, Got'em in brown I see." Naw, their blue, the truck drinks a lot of coffee. Used coffee grounds still wet, and an inexpensive brush and you could go all Bob Ross on the center console and the floor. Look here, somebody had a happy accident at th'Starbucks. I'm describing a friend's truck.

Cheers for filming your RC troubles. Beaters giving trouble is art imitating life😂 As a professional Destroy It Yourselfer mechanic I used the vise grips hammer last week so you're👌🏻 And the all thread bolts are known as setscrews at least here in the UK.

maybe broke the cups...xvds for 41$ will beef up the yota 2 axles if they are yot2 axles..and he maybe re threaded with the helicoil kit on the knickle as well...hopefully everythings gets fixed..buying used is a gamble unless you know the guy..good luck fixing the issue

I am really liking what you have done with it!!! In your opinion, I have a standard outcry esc in my 87 rtr LWB hilux and I am unhappy with the motor and esc in it, and are those 1080s worth purchasing as a upgrade? And what motor would you put in with the 1080?

The 1080 is an excellent budget ESC. With the programming card they come with you can really dial it in how you want it. All of my other TF2's have the 1080 paired with a holmes hobbies torquemaster expert 35t brushed motor. I always run on a small 3s and it gives me tons of control at low speed and enough speed to power through things when I need it. That motor is around $50

That truck looks awesome. How did you get the rust spots on the body like that, especially with what looks like peeling paint around them?

I got this one second hand. Looks like it was painted red before and badly painted blue over it. I added some dabs of iron paint in the scratches and holes that have started making real rust.
