I grew up in St. Louis. I'm a die hard Cardinal fan. Love those Red Birds.

Boy, those speedy Cardinals in the 80s, sure knew how to "base hit" a team to death. With Coleman, McGee, Smith, Herr, Pendleton, etc, getting hits and playing defence, who needs to hit home runs. Just scoop up a Jack Clark and your ready to go.

Scoring from second base, on a hard hit single to left, on AstroTurf. Think about that.
