Well said sir. Recently I built a house of 2000sq.ft two stories. Since my engineer was frequently updating the price increase. I have prepared my mind in some % increase. When engineers are open about their business. It will really help the consumer.

Very true sir. It is very best to mention the current rates of top ten materials which impact more expensive in the estimate. Any client may easily understand and rely upon the contractor.

Sir, as you pointed out.. No engineers are open minded. They always would like to hold the tips and tricks with them. They have union or something like association for fixing the price. But clients does not have like this. If engineer's are transperent then only the problem can be solved. Hope you understand. Thanks 😌

Very true Sir! Here are the steps I am following for building a house. 1. Get Architect help in having an idea of how the house will look. 2. Get a detailed estimate for the house from the Engineer or the contractor. 3. Expect upto 10% increase in the cost of the materials and factor this into the budget. 4. While building - set a price limit for purchase price, say 10k, anything above 10k needs your approval so that you are prepared to pay the money and also avoid surprises.

Either Engineer or customer both should have trust on each other at first! Construction agreement is like engagement assurance ! When there is any abnormal price hike in construction materials, they can discuss with each other to get a solution amicably in order to avoid such a monetary loss to both the sides. We should never forget that, only if we travel together throughout the entire project will make our journey pleasant..! In this journey engineer is our "better half" or (heart) ❤️ till we reach our destination...!😂
