.Comment: if you don’t know what a gimmick is you shouldn’t be at a magic review 😂 1. Flap Cards are not only the name but the method to its creation. A few people in the comments said “rather buy them then make them” I don’t completely disagree and I understand but when you have been practicing magic since 4 and have been studying magic for 30 years you tend to learn that making the gimmicks yourself becomes very important when you can, that becomes a lesson In methods and how you can be a creator of magic instead of just someone who bought some gimmicks one day and when on Instagram and called yourself a magician. Deft make the gimmicks yourself especially when the creator teachers you how to make them! 😂 you’ll learn ALOT Sharpie thru card is a gorgeous visual piece but again like the first gimmick they are really meant and built with keeping social media in mind as it’s become very popular. Wow sleeve is something I personally would never use because I like to have justifications as well. I can’t believe I never thought of making it part of a carry around with credit cards!! I may take it a step further and put it in my CTW (card to wallet wallet) as a percent attachment. Gimmick decks. Svengali for me is more of a great force deck where you can show different cards. I don’t use it much because there are 1000s of other better forces but I have used it to make it seem more impossible. A rough smooth works great as well and making your own rough smooth is pretty easy Stripper deck I use ALL the time because it is a regular deck for all purposes and will allow you to find any card , use it to cop a card for card to impossible location etc There are plenty of gaffed cards as well that should be in the list because I’m sure you have a ton you have used. You can make your own gaffs and gimmicks as well.

Great presentation!! I do own everything on your list and, personally, I get amazing reactions with my Omni Deck. The look on the spectator's eyes when they open up their hands and there is only a clear block of plastic is priceless. I do not own a Svengali Deck anymore-- But I have multiple Mirage Decks that basically do the same thing. Thanks for the video.
