peace guys!!! both groups(kaba and all stars) are really great dancers, no doubt about that. Though probably the competition is really tight and the criteria and judges were strict to rules. In my opinion based on synchronization and execution, kaba had it better than all star but the choreo and entertaining part, i think all star had that aspect. There were lots of talented dancers but very few captures the audience. So well done to both groups.

Look up SoReal on World of Dance, BZ Showcase and other competitions...the choreographers are really talented, have unique style, and genuine choreo. They have put more effort into their dance... Kaba has used this same exact routine in this competition, BZ showcase, and ABDC...not to put them down but i just wanted to mention it. Houston can throw it down!!! I think you may like them :)

Kaba Modern is hella good! I think kaba modern beat Philippine All Stars because of : 1) Technicality! Their choreo was tight because of the moves and how the moves went to the song. Strong musicality! All Stars didn't have a lot of hard choreo or any good uniformity at all like kaba modern's uniformity, which all dance groups should include like kaba modern, but All Stars are good at formations most of the time. Not everyone needs to dance like the All Stars to win..

i figured that before the competition began they would use some of the sets they already used in past performance. but i'm pretty sure that the other groups used past moves they've done before too. i mean i'm pretty sure the other groups used same flips and tricks that they done in other performances. but kaba modern does altar and change up the moves that they already used before

Yeah! Definitely. If you watch some Jabawockeez videos also, they use old routines, but also change it up, but both Kaba and Jaba don't copy from other groups, therefore it's legit. I don't see anything wrong with it as long as it isn't copied. As Kaba Modern would say, "Often Imitated, Never Duplicated!"

3) Diversity! NNoOoO Kaba does have diversity! first they have different songs they danced too hip hop, rnb, and a techno electro beat base kinda of song.. in addition!! Not only do they include regular hip hop dance, but also popping and breaking! A lot of illusions were really cool! Popping is a style all stars didnt have a lot of.. if any at all.

I think geographically we're Asian. Linguistically speaking though, the Filipino language is an Austronesian language which ties us closer to the Pacific Island nations and the etymology of language has always been a great way of determining ties/history between nations. Indians and Russians are in Asia but they don't identify with being Asian. Not that I'm denying my Asian roots, I'm just saying that Filipinos that don't identify with being Asian isn't such a bad thing.

yea ryt! It's all about race with black people. If I even say "you people" or even "black people", they make it a race issue. I had black friends that got upset in spanish class because they said the spanish are racist for their use of the word negro that means black. It's not even about race pride anyways. IT's national pride. With the exception of Kaba Modern and other groups, plenty of the groups are international like phil. all stars. Can't we be proud? We arent hurting anyone anyways.

Just so you know, I'm not thumbing down your comments. I find it interesting that you didn't like this choreo set at all (strong comment to say it was Whack). You know about HHI and the time limit, so the pieces are truncated versions of their bigger sets (VIBE/FUSION/etc). It's still classic Tony Tran (grown apart) & Mike Song (ending) choreo, which most people find entertaining; unless you don't like them. Just to get your perspective, which KM performances made you a fan then? Link plz ty.

We Flips are just proud of our brothers and sisters because it's not everyday that you see Pinoy/Pinay that's famous internationally. But I must admit some of us are getting out of hand. Like in AI, some claimed that D. Archuleta is a Flip when in fact he's part Honduran. Anyway, the KM in ABDC was supposed to have 2 Pinoy members but I think there was some conflict with the schedule of KM's 2008 auditions so they had to pull back. BTW, no one said that they're all Flips. KM is a mix of races.
