My sister's and I were the first Filipino-Americans born there. Now I live in Florida. Looks a lot different than it did 40 years ago, even 20 years ago. I still have lots of family there that I still talk to from time to time, mainly through facebook. It's good to see the progress being made. I'll never forget the last time I visited, my cousin took me on a bike ride along the river and a little boy was getting circumcised in the river with a sharp stone. It was horrific. I often think how my life would have turned out had we not moved to America when I was 5. Regardless, I hope to take my family there one day to visit before everyone gets too old.

Wow! Another breathtaking video. If my memory serves me right the last time I visited Kabankalan City was way back in 1999, during its Sinulog Festival. So it's been a while hehehe. As being shown in your video, I can virtually imagine the enormous progress that Kabankalan City has gone so far. I can feel a mixture of urban lifestyle and rural ambiance which makes it a perfect combination of a city within a countryside feel so to speak. It's quite amazing!
