I believe we choose our parents to fulfill a purpose for God, then we begin to submit to worldly ways & forget this promised purpose. All the bad we endure is to strengthen us for our divine purpose. Also, if Kaballah is about 6000 years old, why does the written record of it only show up around the 6th C BCE? Why no mention of any esoteric wisdom in the Tanakh?

It was passed down verbally at first, plus it was hidden from most people on purpose (those generations were far from evolved to understand it). Basically, most humans lived like animals, occupied with physical survival only, back in the day. Humans STILL live mainly as animals and wouldn't have the capacity to understand Kabbalah. Yes, even NOW.
