1) Eat only when hungry 2) eat with happy mind and focus 3) eat with hands, remove the spoon 4) Limited variety 2-3 items only 5) 32 times chewing 6) No Over eating, leave some space 7) don't Work immediately after meal

Very very Thanks @Sativc Moment i use to think eating junk good is normal, from last 1 year i am trying to leave all my bad eating habits , but people use to tell me you are orthodox . 1. Eat when actually hungry 2. Eat with a happy grateful mindset 3. Use hands while eating 4. Dont mix all kind of food in your plate. 5. Chew a lot 6. Don't eat 'Thasa-Thas' keep sufficient space in stomach (1/2). Be mindful 7. Dont work right after food

Nice and useful 7 points, would like to add few more tips. 1. If we could skip looking at the TV, Mobile and Computer, while eating. 2. The best posture for eating is sitting on floor With folded legs ( चोंकड़ी). Not only indians but Japanese also do the same. And Japanese are the longest living people.

The list of mistakes 1. Eating without being hungry - poison - Avoid snacking. Eat when you feel the fire of hunger 2. Eat in stress, anger or tension. Avoid Multitasking. Eat happily. 3. Avoid fork and spoon. Eat with your hands. Avoid too hot or too cold food. 4. Mixing too many foods - avoid the Thali. Don't mix foods. 5.Not chewing enough. Chew 32 times so that food becomes juice. Makes digestion easy. Take smaller bites. 6. Eat till your stomach is over - full. Leave empty space. 7. Don't get back to work immediately after eating.Siesta or power nap after a short walk - after lunch is a good habit BONUS HABIT 8. Prayer and gratitude before starting to eat.

The costliest and best Japnaese and Korean Restaurants do not have tables. And their serving bowls are very small. They advocate mindful eating and eating till 80% capacity. Also, Japanese offices allow nap time after lunch. It is mandatory. And we all know how productive they are. Only we Indians work and work and work and lack in having a joyful life.

Sir/ma'am I have attained an online workshop regarding food pairing where I got to know that we should never pair acidic food like tomato, lemon, tamarind with starchy food like wheat, rice, potato etc. If we do so the starch will remain undigested and cause many health issues. In satvic sabzi recipe tomato is the main ingredient. Please make me clear about this, 🙏🙏🙏 the workshop was conducted by Dr NK Sharma. He has done research in this field for about 40 years.

This is a really informative video about how to eat food and when to eat food. But I am little bit confused about saying by you to not to eat 2-3 types of food items in your one single meal. Why? I have heard that we should eat multi grains food . Like multigrain daliya, multigrain daal or multiple type vegetables. Multiple vegetables or grains means multiple nutrients. A complete package of health. Can you please help me out to understand this delimma? Thanks.

I think that multigrain diet is a modern health fad. Since wheat is not good for the body and doesnt contain much nutrients so thats why multigrain diet started gaining popularity. only wheat requires a multi grain mix of millets, chana corn bajra etc to maintain nutritional value and digestion ease. For millets roti multigrain mix is not required. Also in this video they said that very different types of food should not be eaten. Example : Like kheer with daal roti, or daal rice chapatti papad halwa etc are individual dishes of food. They shouldnt be eaten together. Multigrain diet is ok if you are eating wheat. 👍 Similarly non violent milk. Non voilent Milk is a complete food in itself and shouldnt be drinked after any other type of grainy food.

I have read all these information in the book of Hadith. Eating with hands, eating half stomach etc.I didn't really know that these all are existing in your dharmik book,, after watching this video i knew one thing that Every book of religion contains very useful information, our dharmik contains are very similar to each other. ❤

Nice video.. Gud information. U can include three points... ✅Prepare food in miiti ke bartan. ✅Use hand operated stone mill for making flour ✅ Eat on floor... If on soil or grass is best. It may not be possible in office but elsewhere try to eat on floor.

Good but your 4th point is contradicting ayurveda which teaches that your meal should have all 6 tastes, like sweet, sour , bitter , salty, etc. Please respond

Hi Samartha, you are saying it right. However, to include all tastes, Ayurveda don't mention to include them in full cooked meal, these tastes should be in smaller raw form, for e.g. For the pungent taste you can add a slice of ginger and for sweet taste a piece of Jaggery, other tastes like salt and tikhta could be already added to your cooked meal.

Hi.. Actually Satvik sabzi has shadrasa Salty- Sendha namak Pungent- Green Chilli Sour - Tomato Astringent- Raw vegetables and sprouts Bitter- Ginger Madhura rasa can be added by a pinch of jaggery. Anyway lots of fresh fruits will compensate your daily requirement of shadrasa
