oh gee i wonder. i'd love to see people like mad matt do healing-d-vision's ending for like 2 minutes compared to the kinds of charts they are making. (which is essentially the same thing except its straightforward) he's doing 240BPM streams. let him do healing-d-vision challenge's ending on 480BPM. it's just stepping on arrows, he can do that right? (oh yeah, while you're at that set the judge to judge 6)

Yeah, the only difference is that they make all the notes disappear temporarily, break your combo, and I'm not sure whether or not they make your life/energy bar go down.

It's pretty much mines. You set them off the same way. The arrows will disappear for a moment if you hit a set shock arrows to throw you off more. Combo resets as well.

ddr = timming/crossovers/timming/low bpm changes/fast bpm changes reading/TIIMING itg = resistance/repetitive patterns/resistance both game have good or bad things (itg = stupid double charts, or ddr = impossible crossovers/insane bpms, like valkyrie dimension, or the "slow part" on new decade)

of course when all the stepcharts are made by the players since the actual ITG is already dead and everything is just tasteless straightforward 16ths (or more) streams such that you can just spaz at the center panel.

i'm based on a real itg songs (itg 1,2,3 rebirth and rebirth 2, not "sm songs), but yeah, itg it's a lot of speed and accuracy.. depends of the machine level (in my city, the only itg machine was "level 7" xD

Those are called "shock arrows" and your feet are not supposed to be on top of any step panels it or else you'll be penalized.

Late response but what he is doing is an advanced technique called bracketing, which is aligning both of your feet between the brackets close to the arrow panels. This technique was first introduced in PIU, but it really became notable back during the ITG days as a way to hit Hands (3 or more arrows at the same time) with just using two feet. Although the four arrows you're seeing are shock arrows, which is similar to ITG's mines where you have to step away from the panels

I used to have DDR at the timezone I went to. Now they've got some other dance machine game. Its similar but theres completely different songs and theres different ways of dancing that drive me nuts. They move the arrows side to side while theyre going up the screen. They'll make them go really fast until l they reach the top and then stop millimetres from the arrow and you have to time it right because they start to over lap each other and you cant see which you are supposed to step on. BRING BACK DDR ROCKINGHAM TIMEZONE!!! THIS NEW ONE SUCKS!!! Ive stopped going to timezone because that was the only game I enjoyed.
