I honestly don't have a problem with pop country as long as I like the artist and I enjoy the song and their not auto tuned, but it is real nice to finally have an artist that does something different. I think she's more natural than most country artist, actully just purely artist, out there.

I love Kacey and how she has brought back the old sound. Especially the steel guitar. It is such a craft that none of these newer artist seem to recognize. She is true country. And she ain't bad to look at either. I also love that she doesn't mine pushing the lyrics to the extreme. This comes from a Rap/Rock/Pop/Country and R&B fan. People always crack up when I might have Limp Bizkit on and then Kacey comes on next. I think she is a force to dealt with in the next generation of country/pop. I would love to see her Gretchen Wilson and that new comer Maren Morris do a all kick ass women's tour.

@midichannel I get what you're saying,but the difference is the Foo Fighters and Zepplin,although from different generations,are still rock.In other words,one may listen to the Foo's or any rock band from today and not like them,but there is no denying it's STILL rock.You can't say that about most of todays country.Listen to Carrie Underwoods new song "Good Girl" then listen to this young lady and tell me which one is country and which one sounds like something Katy Perry would sing

Real country? What does that even mean, do you mean "old" country. Funny, that anyone that likes Foo Fighter still likes Led Zepplin, those who like Led Zepplin still like the Beatles, those who like The Beatles still like Chcuck Berry. Why is it the country music is the only genre that is not allowed to grow up? There is a leanage of rap, classical, blues, why can't country music have that same history?

I like those bands, I've actually opened for Stoney in College Station, but in about 10 years these conversation will become mute. Looks like country is finally breaking off into sub genres just like every other genre of music. I prefer Texas country, band like Donahew, Abbott, Stoney, Crow etc., those bands don't sound anything like Hank Williams or Ray Price, bands my grand father would call real country.
