LMAO at all these polarized comments about one of them supposedly being so much better than the other. Besides being able to stay on key (which both of them at least can with the help of accompaniment, judging by this performance) there's no objective definition of what makes someone a good singer. These ladies both can sing, and they just have different ways of going about it. Kacey has a pretty, clear voice but not much soul or power; Katy has a more unconventional tone and less control, but more power and grit to her voice. To each their own.

They will always be compared to each other. Just for the record, Katy performance was better. Kacie is hotter, but she is younger. Katy is cuter and prettier. Kacie was the better singer on THIS song only. Every other video I seen Katy had better vocals and all around better performance.
