@@benjjjjsin On the word "they" as she is scooping up a bit, you can hear the sort of stairstepping from note to note - electronic sounding, almost sounds scratchy. Definitely not a part of her natural tone which is super smooth. However, it might not be as much for tuning purposes - the album was partially inspired by Daft Punk and electronic sounds, so it could just be more of an effect. She definitely doesn't need tuning support... although in that environment it is often difficult to hear yourself singing, and she probably has a somewhat tired voice from performing this album live.

It's not you, it's the glow of the party The way that you've got me lit up inside It's the song that they're playin', the words that you're sayin' It's never felt so right And I'm the kind of person who starts getting kinda nervous When I'm having the time of my life Is there a word for the way that I'm feeling tonight? Happy and sad at the same time You got me smiling with tears in my eyes I never felt so high No, I've never been this far off of the ground And they say everything that goes up must come down But I don't wanna come down So is there a way to stop all this thinkin', just keep on drinkin'? 'Cause I don't wanna wake up When they're turnin' the lights on and it turns out the joke's on me 'Cause it feels so right And I'm the kind of person who starts getting kinda nervous When I'm having the time of my life Is there a word for the way that I'm feeling tonight? Happy and sad at the same time You got me smilin' with tears in my eyes I never fell so high No, I've never been this far off of the ground And they say everything that goes up must come down I don't wanna come down I don't mind at all, no, I'm used to fallin' I'm comfortable when the sky is gray But when everything is perfect, I start hidin' 'Cause I know that rain is comin' my way, my way 'Cause I'm happy and sad at the same time You got me smilin' with tears in my eyes I never felt so high No, never been this far off of the ground And they say everything that goes up, goes up must come down And I don't wanna come down No, I don't wanna come down

Mike Michaels she’s very james taylor and neil young influenced. Beneath the pop and electronic elements, I think it’s much stronger than the country influences, which is why I think she should be branded more as folk-pop than country-pop.

Wow, this was beautiful... It’s something when you can play your whole album on shows. But also make it sound even more beautiful live than an already beautiful recording. Really felt her intent behind the song in this live performance... wow. I’m your newest biggest fan Kacey. Just wow. ❤️

I don't know how I didn't realise I wasn't subscribed to her yet. I've been a fan this whole time! Kacey sings beautifully on live and doesn't sound different at all from the recorded version. That's how you know she's a great singer
