A hack I learned a long time ago flying, wrap you salad and other fragile items in a hand towel before you put them in the fridge. Make sure its wrapped well, no areas open. It helps to prevent freezing. It doesn't always prevent it but I have manage to save a lot of food that way.

I take a refrigerator thermometer with me to hotels. Avoids guessing if the fridge is too warm or too cold. You can also use it in your cooler. Also, get a couple Mueller ice bags for your cooler. They are amazing. They have a screw-top, use regular ice, don’t have condensation and they collapse to save space when you don’t need them.

I would like to suggest for your bug problem that you keep ALL of your drains CLOSED. That is how they are showing up. Plumbing is the information super highway for them. When you are ready to use your sink or shower run the water first and then open the drain. This way if there are any they will be flushed out by the water. I live in Florida, I know. Love your video! What bag do you usually use when you are traveling? I recommend using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane. I've been using this bag for months now and it is such a hack. It has a trolley sleeve feature and it fits under the seat too! makes your travel more convenient and effortless and it packs like a suitcase too!

Taking that huge bag of fruit is genius. A tiny 8 ounce cup of precut fruit which isn't even that ripe will cost you so much money at the airport. Look how much fruit you got to take with you! You easily saved 30 dollars if you had to buy that amount of healthy produce in individual packages at like a Cafe or a kiosk. That chicken with sweet potato meal looks amazing, easily 9 bucks if you had to buy it and I'm not sure you can even buy sweet potato gnocchi if you tried at the airport or hotel. Now if you brought like a nutri bullet with you and a jar of almond butter and blended some healthy fruit smoothies at the hotel room you would be unstoppable. I think buying the Starbucks coffee at target saved you at least 40 percent than if you bought that same can at an actual airport starbucks. I'm glad you are aggressively tackling your spending like that, it's gonna make a huge difference over time!

Hi Kacey! When you see anything containing chemicals "on sale", check the expiration date! Chemicals used in beauty products have a finite life, like medications; do not use expired or almost expired products. Buy products with at least 6 months before expiration date. When traveling, ALWAYS pack your suitcase for at least 3 days (external clothes), and for 6 days (internal clothes). Safe travels!
