I have to say (and I'm sorry!) but I busted out laughing when you dropped the food. Your expression was priceless! Ideas for video? Hmmm....maybe a tour of the new place you moved to? The pool, gym, etc. Maybe another Q&A? I for one would love to know what those rings mean during the flight you hear from time to time. I'm guessing its from the flight deck. Maybe doing a question to the flight crew on their favorite places to stay over at? (Can aim the camera at the floor if they don't wish to be seen). Worst trip you ever did, best trip, most annoying passenger requests, etc. Hope this helps!

I’m old now, but I remember what it was like worrying about spending $$ on meals. And today everything is so much more expensive!!! Believe me, though I can afford more, sometimes just having almond butter on toast for dinner tastes fine! Followed by a pear or a banana. A couple of hours later, something else. If you are famished…go for the $16 meal. By all means. But pack the nutritious and yummy convenience food for when you want to skip the exorbitant prices. Loved this vlog! I want to send you a coffee!!

Many moons ago we use to get crew allowance $ for food and a cleaning allowance to have our uniforms cleaned 🇨🇦 for each trip that we had a layover. We had a staff parking lot so no fee to park. Yes the library is a good plan. Ask the front desk for a few extra kcups & cream when you check in, I alway have zip lock bags with me in case I have leftovers, easy to carry. I always take protein bar ,cereal bars, peanut butter and crackers a plastic cutlery set in a small Rubbermaid containers in my suitcase. Check to see if the hotel has continental breakfast? Or if they serve breakfast, if they do take banana or apple and muffin ( put in ziplock) for a snack to eat as you explore the city you are in and you will then have extra $ to get lunch or a drink ☕️, 💦 That parking is way too much to pay, look to see if there is something else. ♥️🇨🇦

As a frequent domestic flyer - I learned to follow my own system. I would park in the long term parking & save $20.00 for the day. I only had to get a shuttle bus to & from the terminal. I was a member of the lounges so ate for free & was sure to grab a water or 2 + snack food from there. Us Aussies are not into brewing coffee so I bring the Cappucino Sachets - add hot water & sugar. It soon adds up & me spending 5 mins to get my car is $20 well saved. A few trips a week & its $60-$80 saved.

From one book reader to another Kacey, Kindle is your friend. That book you purchased is $9.49 with immediate download. As a committed Amazon devotee you should include an e reader as part of your 'tool kit'. Was surprised at the coffee price in the home of coffee drinkers 😀 $7.80 in our currency and I would never pay that! The parking cost I thought reasonable and your justification spot on - can also add safety. Finally the food purchases really a lifestyle choice and whatever your comfortable with. Enjoyed the video.

You could enter a 3 legged race obviously, three legs to the trip. Bring empty microwave safe, food saver containers with you, pack them amongst the packing cubes, lid off, so that you have no empty space. That way if you have styrofoam, which isn't microwave safe, you can put your leftovers in the microwavable containers to reheat them. Yes it's better to bring your own food so you don't spend money, but at least you have food safe, microwave safe containers with you. Also you can likely get collapsible microwavable food containers.

Some of us were trying to give her constructive advice. I have 35 years as a financial planner and wealth manager. Your financial advice to Kacey is not worth squat. Anyone that’s told me “spend your money because you can’t take it with you,”…didn’t have any money. Dead Broke!! Here’s your choice: you can outlive your money and be broke because of wasteful spending . Or you can save and invest your money, and live beneath your means and have a long life in retirement with plenty of money. Unfortunately, most Americans have your philosophy and die with little or no money.

Out of curiosity ... How do you handle hotel checkout times? Example: your van pickup is at 12:30, but hotel checkout is 11:00 AM. Or do hotels make exceptions to accommodate flight crews? Or is the airline paying for the hotel? P.S.: There's lots of great eating places in Newark, but off the airport property. The Ironbound is the section of Newark closest to the airport. Its known for its Spanish, Portuguese and Brazilian restaurants (if you have the time). Come hungry.
