This song gets me. I was living and having the time of my life until I lost my aunt to cancer, my best friend had and beat cancer, my mom was told she is terminally ill with cancer at the age of 60, and I shut down my coffee shop that fueled everything in me. I find myself looking for the little moments. They make me happy and sad. "I don't mind it all, no I'm used to the falling. I'm comfortable when the sky is grey. But when everything is perfect I start hiding cause I know that rain is coming my way."
@gumzy30004 жыл бұрын
This song is making me cry. I am 24 years old and I never have had a crush in my life. The only crush I ever had was started early last year. I met a man on a dating site and I fell crazy for him. He was out of the country since he was a soldier but we talked every day and I could see myself slowly falling for him. He was more of a mystery since he told me he liked me too but he did have a boyfriend in the military. Anyways, he recently left the military, broke up with his boyfriend, and a few months ago he moved back home to my city and he told me he was dating someone again. I was heartbroken. Then a few days ago he told me they broke up. Yesterday, I drank a bit too much and I confessed I liked him and asked him if he liked me. He said he did but that I do not deserve him as he is suffering from PTSD and mental issues due to his time in the military. I asked him why he dated the other guy, and he said it was because he means nothing to him like I do and he does not want to risk losing me. I feel happy and sad at the same time. I really like him and can imagine a future with him but I do not think it is possible right now or ever. At least I know I am capable of loving now and I think that is the most important part of all this. Thank you for reading

If they didn't before, they might consider doing so now. Most of the material on "Golden Hour" seems more radio friendly. Not calling all of it super generic, but it's a little more mainstream than what she has released in the past.

I'm not sure if this is country tbh. I would rather count songs like "Butterflies" as country, but this one sounds more like pop.

I first heard this song when I was starting to see this guy. Everything was perfect, we clicked on every level and everything felt so natural. He was everything that I didn't know I was looking for. We continued seeing each other until he told me he couldn't be my boyfriend because of some personal issues in his life. I've never felt so hurt. I really felt like he was my soulmate. I've gone through weeks of wondering where I went wrong. I can't believe that I just had to let go of everything that we had. I went for a couple of months without listening to this song and bumped into it a few days ago. Can't help but feel like the lyrics describe what i went through with this guy. "Everything that goes up must come down"

Happy & Sad" It's not you, it's the glow of the party The way that you've got me lit up inside It's the song that they're playin', the words that you're sayin' It's never felt so right And I'm the kind of person who starts getting kinda nervous When I'm having the time of my life Is there a word for the way that I'm feeling tonight? Happy and sad at the same time You got me smiling with tears in my eyes I never felt so high No, I've never been this far off of the ground And they say everything that goes up must come down But I don't wanna come down So is there a way to stop all this thinkin', just keep on drinkin'? 'Cause I don't wanna wake up When they're turnin' the lights on and it turns out the joke's on me 'Cause it feels so right And I'm the kind of person who starts getting kinda nervous When I'm having the time of my life Is there a word for the way that I'm feeling tonight? Happy and sad at the same time You got me smilin' with tears in my eyes I never felt so high No, I've never been this far off of the ground And they say everything that goes up must come down But I don't wanna come down I don't mind at all, no, I'm used to fallin' I'm comfortable when the sky is gray But when everything is perfect, I start hidin' 'Cause I know that rain is comin' my way, my way 'Cause I'm happy and sad at the same time You got me smilin' with tears in my eyes I never felt so high No, never been this far off of the ground And they say everything that goes up, goes up must come down And I don't wanna come down No, I don't wanna come down
