Sarah saying she goes to the cemetery on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas Day is honestly such a good idea, my dad passed away last year but this is my second Christmas without him so I feel going to the cemetery on Christmas Eve will definitely help me to enjoy Christmas Day alot more❤ sending love to everyone grieving this Christmas❤ - updated: sprouts are my favourite and pigs in blankets are definitely my 10 I hate them😂

hearing Sarah talk about her brother and the struggles christmas have after losing immediate family is so comforting to me. I lost my dad a few years ago and christmas is super hard and sometimes I even feel selfish for having a good time. Love the pod tho! x

I haven’t been to my dad’s grave in 2 years. I do have the worse guilt in the back of my mind but after 8 years since he passed daily I do quite well, but as soon as I visit the grave it’s like taking 10 steps backwards and it’s so very upsetting. Completely understand how Sarah feels❤

Sarah my family and I also lost my brother so I completely understand these feelings ur not alone and also the feeling of wanting to support ur parents on the harder days (Christmas) regarding Budy u could put him in a kennel they always spoil the dogs on Christmas so he wouldn’t be alone and its worth it if it helps ur parents and u. You will find u will feel u can breath knowing that they are ok and distracted ❤

The story about Sophie’s first playdate reminded me of my brother. At primary he had this one friend but she moved away when he was in year 4 and then he struggled a lot with making other friends. In year 5 he moved to a special needs school and had a really hard time with friends and made this friend called holly but their classes were mixed and she was in year 6 so moved up to the secondary part of the school. In year 6 he had a really hard time and diddnt really make any friends. When he moved into year 7 this boy moved into his class and both of them are the sweetest and i’m so glad he has found a friend. Sophie’s kindness and confidence to her friend helping he out the car was so sweet and shows how good parents you are and how good you have raised her xx ❤

Can totally understand where Sarah is coming from, I lost my Dad 8 years ago when I was 16 and I always get that feeling of guilt when I really can’t bring myself to go to the cemetery. A lot of my family find comfort in visiting my Dads grave but for me it makes me feel 100 times worse 💔 Christmas time is so much harder for people when they’ve lost someone. Sending love ❤️ xx

I had very similar feelings surrounding the cemetery with my uncle (I know it’s different) and I made the decision not go their until Boxing Day anymore and it’s a hard feeling initially but I know he would want us to be happy on Christmas Day and would probably tell us off for making the kids leave their toys at home❤ I’m so glad you have a piece (2pieces) of Micky here with you I so wish my uncle had children although my nan said it would of been hard as she would of wanted that part of him with her xx sending you all the love ❤️
