Kaci, I really appreciate this video! So glad God blessed you with amazing friends. The tip I found most helpful was how to address conflict because it's something I need to learn and work on. I also like the idea of instigating fun...and so glad you emphasized prayer and asking deep questions. A video on how to make friends would be nice. I am learning how to have a friendship with a guy, and learning to navigate the differences between this and my female friendships is a little challenging but God is helping me.

I'm so glad you found the video helpful Brie! I will definitely get a "how to make friends video" on my list of ideas for YT 😊also I totally agree that the guy vs. girl friendship thing can definitely be a tricky one to navigate, especially if there have ever been feelings on either end!

I really appreciated this video. This week, I’ve really started praying for friends...godly friends. By listening to your video, I realized I don’t really “pour into” people that I have a chance to be friends with. I don’t invest that time. I believe it’s because I had a really deep hurt in a friendship as a teenager and I’ve never really tried/allowed good friends since then. That was years ago! Thank you for this video. Please pray for me. I need friends. Thank you. 💞🙏

I feel like it’s a lot of pressure to be a good friend. This is an area of my life that I’m so new to, but God has recently blessed me with a lot of godly women in my life, and I want to know how to be a good friend. I’ve always been so boy crazy I never focused on friendships growing up and I want to change. But again, all of these tips do overwhelm me a bit I guess because I get a lot of social anxiety. Thanks for sharing, I will pray about this.

I’m just praying for Godly friends to come along, I stopped being friends with almost everyone, I feel bad but I’m continuing to close all those friendships that don’t lead me closer to Christ. It doesn’t make it better that I still have to see these people everyday at school.

Losing many bad friends and ungodly friends for good. There were red flags 🚩 that I didn’t notice and were hindering my walk in faith. Literally all my friendships except 1. It’s exhausting keeping people who don’t care about who you really are. Especially when no one else listens to you actively despite you do that for them.

These were really nice tips. I did a similar video like this on my channel. I’m really hoping that God will flood my life with people who will lead me and not distract me. Godly friendships always and I’m willing to guide those who have not yet made the godly decision. I will never turn anyone away who appears to be struggling

Great video Kaci...👍 Love It ... I would say 'to encourage each other '.... Encouragement is so important in The Body Of CHRIST... It's about uplifting one another... We,as branches,we are intertwined to support each other in every area .. GOD doesn't merely recommend it... HE explicitly commands it ( 1 Thessalonians 4:18, 5:11; Hebrews 3:13 ) 🙏🏽🔥

Thank you for this helpful video, Kaci! I was just wondering, do you think it's okay to vent to someone else about an issue you're having with a friend if you don't use their name or if they don't know each other - in hopes of getting a fresh perspective or advice on how to deal with the situation? Or would you still consider that gossiping?
@kacinicole4 жыл бұрын
That's such a great question Vanessa and honestly something I wrestle with. I know when I want to do that I have to be very honest with myself about my motivations because I can easily tend to deceive myself about what they truly are. But I do believe it is possible to have pure intentions of genuinely wanting to seek perspective or advice, and in those situations I think it's important to go to a complete third party, maybe even someone older than you and not a peer. Meaning, if you have an issue with friend A, I would say don't go talk to friend B who is also friends with friend A, maybe try to find a friend C who doesn't even know friend A. And again just being honest with yourself about motivations. I hope that helps! 😊
@Vanessa-eg6or4 жыл бұрын
@@kacinicole Thanks so much for your input, Kaci! That definitely helps - especially the idea of talking to someone older. I've never even considered that before! Thank you again! Keep doing what you're doing
