the crypt you come out of blood style is a double easter egg as it has a plaque on it saying something like "here lies KAIN, he refused the sacrifice" an obvious reference to blood omen : legacy of kain that also starts off with you emerging from your own crypt

A few Easter Eggs I noticed that wasn't on this videos. On the level "Marina Massacre." When you reach the baseball stadium, there's a sign on the outside that says "DO Baseball!" This is a reference to Streets of Rage 2 Stadium. Before you enter the stadium which is on stage 4. You see the same exact sign and capitalization. The second one might be a reference to Bionic Commando, but this one could be a reach, and SPOILER ALERT if you haven't finished the DLC yet or reached this part. I don't recall the level where Heskel betrays the general and blows his head up. But that might be a reference to the Bionic Commando ending when Master-D head explodes upon being defeated. But! This one MIGHT be a reach.

The whole section is a HL1 reference... the big vertical fan section that you catch a ladder on the top of... the tanks with agitators filled with acid / lava... etc. It's all referencing HL1 level design... I really like what they did with Ion Fury + Aftershock. I have as much fun finding references and secrets than playing the game.

There are more famous guns in that weapon's shop on level 3: the pulse rifle from Aliens, the disintegrator from MIB, Robocop's custom Beretta, the lever action shotgun that the T-800 used before and during the truck chase scene in Terminator 2, the revolver from Gears of War (I think), and even Han Solo's Blaster. Almost all guns showcased there come either from videogames or movies.

Also please note that the game features Mega Man's helmet but you have put Mega Man X's picture instead. Both Mega Man and Mega Man X are actually different characters, and in fact, their helmets altough similar, are also different.
